I'd say only really Jay and Kellie are better than her (Jay's mess up notwithstanding) and Helen will go past her if she can relax into her Latin.”

I just find G&G forgetful most weeks their Rumba has been my favourite from them and that's about it. They are a good couple; their consistent. But in terms of popularity and everything put together, I can't see them outstaying those I mentioned.

How Anton manages this will gives us a strong indication of how far he and Katie might go in this year's show.

-prays for outside choreographers-

In fact, Anton's last Salsa was with Nancy Dell'Olio. Probably not a good sign.

If he doesn't do better than he did for her previous Latin, I can see them going up and down the leader board like a yoyo as the weeks go on!

She's dull, I agree, she's sweet & nice & inoffensive with a new pro. But Jamelia isn't lasting, she's been in bottom 2 already & she's just far too messy & ungainly a dancer to last.

I think Final 4 will be Jay, Kellie and two of Helen, Katie & Georgia. It depends who judges decide to protect on leaderboard. It will probably be Helen & Katie though.

At least with the Salsa there'll be an outside choreographer, so Anton can't get away with his content-lite Party Latin.

I think if Katie & Anton can manage a score of 26+, they should be safe, and then there's a real possibility they'll make the final, as if we say the Samba is the dance they'll be skipping they'll have nothing but dances that suit them left (...and Rumba, but that shouldn't be too bad).

Katie having the salsa now will be good for her if she wants to progress, that's three big latins (Jive, Salsa & Cha cha) gone and correct me if I am wrong, Charleston & Rumba are two of his stronger latins (which he did with Laila) which leaves the samba which is Katie's favourite dance

Could be seriously wrong though...

Apart from Georgia, who'll be great, it feels odd to think that Jeremy might be the best of the ones announced so far! (I hate the rumba.)

It feels to me that it's been quite Latin heavy so far and that a lot of people will have ballroom this week - is that right? I'd guess that Anita, Helen, Carol and Kirsty might have a slow ballroom, on what they've danced so far, but I suppose that would be too many.

Interesting to see how Waltz falls for Jeremy. Part of me thinks this might be the best time for him to show any dancing ability he might have, but then I remember that whenever he went into hold in the AS it looked more like a paso...

If Anton choreographs another bad Latin routine I think the wheels will well and truly come off the YEAR OF THE ANTON.

No series has ever gone this far without somebody being in the dance-off for a second time so expect the first repeat visit this week.

Is the dance in the video a particular style of dance? Or is it just a mish-mash of steps from different dances.

I am probably totally mistaken, but I thought the AT was a latin (because we already have a ballroom tango) and Charleston - despite looking very latin - was a ballroom. IIRC I have seen both danced interchangeably (not sure that's a word!) on Strictly
