Training Hours

Does anyone know when ITT stopped telling us how many hours training each couple had done each week? I'm sure we were given this info in the past.

I think a) we stopped getting training hours in 2010 and b) the fact that that was the series in which Ann Widdecombe participated was not a coincidence. (They did make a comeback in 2012 but not seen since then)

Ah, yes - I believe we got the training hours as part of a Russell Grant skit in 2012. I remember that mostly because they'd reveal that Dani never actually bothered rehearsing.

What do you mean? Did she not train at all?

Why, how many hours of training do you think it took for her to produce this?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sISZFkR-L3o

Thanks

I'd like them to be revealed tbh.

Yes. I'm one for the "Ditch the lame VT's and bring back training room coverage" and then a summary of the hours spent. It would be interesting to see (once again) how training hours (or lack thereof) equate to Saturday night's performance

Would expect that some of them only have limited training hours (Kellie, Carol and Helen for instance).

And yes, would be interesting to see an overview again.

That's what I used to like about being told how hard they'd trained, because sometimes a celeb would be given the "natural dancer" tag when in fact they had trained their socks off to get it right. I wonder why they're so shy about revealing the stats now

Am I right in thinking that in recent years they tend to talk about hours spent training in the quarter/semi final stage? I do miss knowing the stats and finding out how training is going. There used to be a lot more of that in the past series.
I really enjoyed the training room footage. It gave you an insight to both the Pro (how they taught) and the celebrity. It also gave you an indication of personalities and relationships. I hate the VTs now, they really are a waste and so contrived.

I'm sure that when we used to see a clip of their upcoming dance on ITT, we used to get told how many hours they'd trained up to that point. Now we just get told "Oh this was only Monday". Critiquing their progress on the first day of training is pointless imho.

Judging by the improvement from Jamelia Id say she works hard.
