It was definitely Jamelia's best dance so far and it was entertaining (and brave in parts too), but as someone else said, it wasn't 'clean' enough for higher marks and they weren't always in sync.

Plus, those flat shoes made her feet look a bit 'floppy'. Probably didn't do the routine any harm, but it did look a bit odd in places.

Jamelia and Tristan's Charleston was choreographed by Jenny Thomas, assisted by Scott Cupit. Jenny and Scott are swing dancers, so I don't doubt that anything you guys thought of as too swing-y, was taught along with the choreography. That is, it was there by design, not accident.

There is a picture of Glen with Ryan Francois (Jenny's former dance partner and co choreographer, with Jenny, of many SCD Charlestons going back as far as Cola) on Ryan's personal Faceboo. Therefore I very much assume Ryan is responsible for Glen and Anita's Charleston choreo.

I need to give Jamilia's Charleston a watch, thanks for reminding me!
