Do any of you guys remember Aljaz messing up two important lifts during his showdance with Abbey in the finals ( thankfully abbey covered it up .....I wouldn't even realized if they didn't say anything ) ...Aljaz once again messed up that same very night the big jump during their final dance/their Quickstep). He's a pro and messed up on the 2 most important dances that day and on the final. .... this is just to tell you guys that it happens....even to the best of them.
We had pros admitting that they messed up routines over the years. ...who could forget matt di angelo completely blanking out during his dance in the quater finals. ....like Aliona said last Saturday , it happens....not everything is a conspiracy theory.

Jay's training which started at the age of three months (before he could even walk don't you know) meant that he's skilled enough to pull off a pretend duff dance!”

By jove, you've got it!!!

They have always had stage school trained dancers on strictly but Jay is more trained than that and they generally don't win and its a bit embarrassing for the BBC now and they dont want to spoil this year's show if someone is getting 10s in week 3. Last night made it look like last week was fluke and he isn't that perfect. Someone that had that much technique last week and can do turns as perfectly as Jay would not make that many mistakes and lose his balance as much. I'm sorry, I don't buy it. One over balance maybe, two I don't believe. He doesn't have a day job and has plenty of time and the technique and experience not to make that many mistakes in week 4. Anyone else agree?”

no, give the guy a break

every one makes mistakes, he isnt perfect, he isnt a professional, it was just one of those nights

geez - poor guy!

People think he's some sort of a dancing machine that can always deliver, turn it on and off as necessary, but that's the problem that he's not. According to Aliona even that jive almost did not happen. And this QS almost happened.

Exactly! Jay had a tough week with the tabloids criticizing him for previous training - they (tabloids) are ignoring the previous training and performance experience of Helen, Georgia, Kellie, Peter to mention a few

Jay has also had to deal with sour grapes from Anthony Ogogo and unfounded romance rumors. He comes across as a reserved shy type of guy who is trying to find a new career outlet after being in The Wanted. His shyness is not an act - take a look at any of their videos on Youtube he is the least assertive of that group. The show needs talent like him

People who can't see that Jay's shyness is not an act are appalling bad judges of character.

Peter Andre must be livid. Jay performs well, the news is about him. Jay performs badly and the news is about him again. Peter who?

Well, there is a Mirror article today about all the meals his doctor wife Emily is preparing to fatten him up!

If Jay danced so poorly then how did he get a SEVEN from Len and Darcy?
Monkseal

He got a 6 from Len. His 7s were from Bruno and Darcey.

Because he didn't. He just stuffed up a couple of time and Craig for some reason decided that put him on a par with Carol and Daniel and only one point better than Kirsty.

And Len gave him a 6, it was Bruno who gave him a 7. So Len actually thought he was on a par with Kirsty, Daniel, Jeremy and Carol.

Darcey had him equal with Georgia, which isn't much less ridiculous.

I would hardly call what Jay did on saturday night, dancing poorly, there were a few mistakes in his routine but, IMO, I definately dont think he danced poorly

Craigs 5 was extremely harsh but thats Craig for you!

Would definitely agree with that. I wasn't terribly impressed with his Paso Doble last week but the judges were raving about it.

The BBC's arse licking of Peter is getting on my tits. You'd think he was a top actor not some z level reality tv celeb. It says more of the current state of the BBC than anything else.

He certainly has his followers, but thankfully, there are enough of us who can recognise a phony sleazeball when we see one. and hopefully that should prevent him getting to the finals.

In your opinion. I assume you don't know him personally?

Did you also believe him when he described Craig's 5 as a 'solid mark'?

As regards the dance itself I doubt very much that he performed badly on purpose. In my opinion (as predicted beforehand) it was the judges who set out to mislead the public by pretending that this week he was worse than his actual performance suggested. I don't think Jay fans should worry as they will be giving him 10's again, sooner rather than later. The judges were just trying to balance up last week and give the impression that there was still a competition to be won.

Yes I do believe him. Craig is harsh with his scoring. Jay was beating himself up about his performance. I think he could see a '3' coming his way. From Craig .. 5 is pretty solid (though harsh I thought!)

Looking at him in the results show I think he saw himself in the dance-off already, quite a drama queen if you ask me Maybe it would be a good thing, now we won't get to see that QS as it was supposed to be.

Considering how badly he stuffed it up, and in comparison to last week's Jive, yes.
