Actually what is sad is that someone can't see to have an opinion without everyone being so rude. It is my opinion and that is the point of a forum, that people voice different opinions, whether you like it not. Of course give your disagreeing opinion, you don't have to call it sad, it us just different to yours.
The thing about shouting about being allowed have an opinion is you then have to allow others have an opinion about your opinion .In my opinion your theory is daft .Making a mistake on purpose is so far fetched its funny .

OMG I use FB burn the witch !
Before jay entered SCD he and his mum probably organised a campaign so he could clinch it and it's coming off so far.

I have two words: P*ss. Off.

There is no need for that, surely

The op is entitled to her opinion, and it is not beyond the realms of possibility

I have two words to - grow up!

It's an opinion, get over it.
Well, after the general reaction to your idiotic thread, you will hopefully think twice before making such a total prat of yourself.

I find the idea that Jay deliberately made mistakes in his routine ridiculous.

What I find surprising, is that despite some great performances last night (Georgia and Katie) Jay is topping the poll on here this week having made so many mistakes? :/
Because the Poll says "Favourite Couple" not favourite performance, and Jay and Aliona are still my favourites so I naturally voted for them.

He was having an 'OFF' time. It happens to the best sometimes.

I totally agree and I have let people have their opinion but I haven't called them stupid or said they obviously have never watched strictly before, I have just disagreed that is the difference.

How you can possibly think that someone who has worked their backside off to perfect a very difficult routine would not only want to let down all his fans (I'm not one of them, BTW), but also Aliona, just to free himself from a ringah status is beyond me. I apologise for being rude, but you can't seriously think that is the case?

If that is the case what is the point of having a new poll each week? A pointless exercise. The point you conveniently left out is that it says week 4 as opposed to say week 3 which would imply that it should be based on the actual dancing each week.

How is having an opinion making a prat of myself. On The voice another BBC show, Tom Jones was told to turn his chair more than he wanted to, to make a better show. So why is it so ridiculous to suggest this. The x factor does a million tricks to get headlines and almost every bb contestant says the editing is dodgy (i know this isn't edited before you say it) but just giving examples of where shows like this aren't exactly what they seem. If happens allrhe time.

Yes he's that well trained a dancer he's able to make mistakes on purpose, he probably planned to take a good 5 seconds to get back in sync he's such a fully trained dancer, he probably choreographed the mistakes himself as he's so well trained. And that slip at the end. Soooooo fake!

They've clearly trained to do those mistakes all week.

Seriously people, ever watch the Olympics and see the favourite completely flop with 3 no jumps? That's pressure and as Jay isn't actually a professional dancer (much as people would have you believe) he has probably never had to deal with such an amount of pressure.

Knowing your last dance has been watched millions of times and people are expecting perfection. Knowing your dance partner expects you to nail probably one of the most difficult QS's we've ever seen. (Which is what all the hugging and kissing was about, Aliona knows it was extremely difficult and wanted him to know he was amazing even wth the mistakes)

But no! clearly it was all staged for the journey.

Or maybe, it's an actual journey!
He really needs to give up attempting to hoof a little on a two bit dancing show and get himself over to Hollywood. With his acting skills he's a shoo in for an Oscar at the very least.

Why???
People change their favourites throughout the show.

If you want to know the best dance then put that in the question or don't be surprised when you ask who's your fave couple that they put their favourite couple.

I think we should ask both questions in separate polls personally.

I don't think he messed up deliberately- he just didn't get it right when he needed to. Last week he had two terrible run throughs, then nailed the live show. Seems this week it was the other way around. I also think Aliona maybe got a teensy bit carried away with her choreography- even if he had nailed that dance- I'm not sure it would have been a dance that was particularly pleasing on the eye.... It all seemed a bit hectic for me- even the bits he did right.
Really, really, fast and hectic song though.

As for the OP .. how many more ridiculous 'Jay is faking it' threads/posts are we going to get before this series is over!?
As if he'd deliberately choose to mess up .. on live tv .. with his family watching etc!! Also he said he didn't want to let the pupils of his old school down. And he potentially could end up in the bottom two and be sent home!!
He looked v upset to have got it wrong but QS is so fast and unforgiving.

Bless Jay .. people seem to want to put a negative spin on everything he says/does. How sad!! They must be so cynical.

I did NOT conveniently leave anything out, I loved their routine, and what is it about FAVOURITE COUPLE that you don't understand?

The reason I think it is because there has been loads of talk about the experience of the contestants this year. Usually there are one or two that have had some previous dance experience, this year there is Jay, Helen, Peter, Georgia and Kelly and there are two levels of contestants this year but Jay is one step above the others. When has anyone ever got a 10 in week 3. He did work hard, it was brilliant choreography, he danced it well, but I just don't think someone could have done the choreography of last week in one week without an extensive background in dance, more than the usual stage school training. There was talk of him being a fraud in the paper, because people are paying to vote, plus the pressure of expectation, so one bad week takes the heat off especially as he isn't the most confident person. The BBC don't like those kind of controversies, especially in the same week as Tom Jones comments about the voice, also in the same week there is talk of axing BBC entertainment shows. Just my opinion.

Can I ask in what way is Jay more trained than stage school, having done a 3 year course in Musical Theatre. He wasn't even studying dance full time.
I agree and the same applies to Ballet" I think Peter see's him as a threat so brought it up. Really gone of Peter Andre a real "Diva"

Why do some people like to imagine that they perceive deceit in others?

I believe all the hype and tabloid (Anthony and Peters remarks as well as The Sun) controversy affected him - also he has a knee injury - he left dance school at 13 and is now 25 so hardly a professional. Give the guy a break - he comes across as quite a shy guy - he made no excuses on Saturday - just accepted that he made a mistake and did not complain about the scores. He was miles better than some of the other celebrities who got the same scores. Peter is getting favorable treatment with getting a favorable slot at the end of the program me each week
I absolutely agree. Don't think Peter is doing himself any favours saying anything - after his disastrous court case I wouldn't believe anything he says. He is getting favourable treatment and overmarked.

I think Jay works very hard and when Aliona has a decent celeb her choreography is very challenging. I really hope he or Anita wins.

I agree with you.

One thing Jay has which most of the others don't have - is REAL talent! No amount of dance training can give you that.

I think he's just not a ballroom kind of guy.

I thought his waltz was underwhelming compared to his CCC too tbh. Out of the ballroom dances he has left....i think he could do a very nice AS. Latin seems to be where he's most comfortable in.

There's only one answer to that I'm afraid.
It doesn't reflect well on them.

Sadly it is a fact of life, although it is just my opinion about Jay not a fact of course. Wouldnt life be lovely if everyone is honest.
