How patronising - I have seen every episode of strictly and also have been to see a lot of dance at the theatre too. I have also watched a lot of reality tv and it is not a shock that someone does something to manipulate the audience. Didn't you read what Tom Jones said about the voice another BBC show, it does happen.”
It's one thing for TPTB to manipulate the audience (i.e. music, costumes, performance order, VTs, judges' comments/marks) - we know that goes on in shows with a public vote. However, the idea that competing celebs and their pros would deliberately perform dances containing glaring errors is laughable!
Apart from anything else, actually doing something with deliberate mistakes is difficult - I suspect that most pros would struggle to do it, and make the mistakes look completely genuine, so a celeb wouldn't stand a chance of pulling it off! Especially when you factor in that Jay would have to have deliberately messed up whilst Aliona was doing the dance correctly!
