Gleb last night actually enjoyed the show

The bit at the with his shirt off and Claudia commented on him shouting encouragement

After initial nervousness he entered into the spirit of the thing

I'm not really sure that ripping your shirt off in front of the cameras because you want to show the world how beautiful your body is would be considered "enjoying the show". It looked like he was enjoying himself a lot more actually.

And to think people call Giovanni sleazy because his Italian ladies man act. Tst tst...

Enough with the Gleb adoration on the show As others have said, if they were behaving like that with a female dancer...

Are the producers bigging him up because he's a newbie and they want Anita to get to the finals?

And I don't even think he is massively more attractive than the other guys (OK I'm a straight bloke but my missus agrees )

I thought Gleb came over well last night. He didn't seem to be taking himself too seriously and went along with the joke in the Clauditorium. The poor man even ate one of Brendan's cocktail sausages!

I agree! He is definitely physically attractive, but attraction is so much more than just looks. Gleb doesn't have the vulnerability, likeability or humour to make him as attractive as Jay, I even find Brendan more attractive! (than Gleb, not Jay!)

God he is gorgeous I had to watch the Gleb special on youtube a few times 😀
Alijash has always been the one but Gleb is definite competition in the sexiness department especially if he brings more of his personality to the show

Aljaz has a sense oh humour and seems very kind, as well as being good looking. As people have said Jay has a sense of humour and us polite and shy.

We don't really know Gleb yet.

I agree. He is coming out of his shell now that he has worked out the British sense of humour and seems to have gelled well into the Strictly family. No one will replace Tristan as my favourite male pro but he is definitely up there

Is it that hard? The several other non-Brits don't seem to have had any problem with it.

Yes, I would imagine it is for some. Particularly with someone like Claudia who is a bit eccentric to say the least. I also think it took Giovanni a little while to settle into it too.

I think after a very uncomfortable few weeks of him not seemingly being in on the joke, last night he just seemed to say 'let's have some fun with it' and it worked.

He's obviously gorgeous, and I always liked his choreography and relationship with Anita, but that let us see he didn't take it too seriously and i like that.

I think there were definite indications last night that Gleb has a good sense of humour. He's growing on me and I like his partnership with Anita.

Oh some of them took a long time to get where they are now, trust me. Although some of them arrived under the Brucie regime, which made it harder. It took Natalie a good three series at least not to look utterly baffled at everything he said.

It seemed like an odd desperate ploy to win votes (which seems to have worked)

Almost as if Pasha and Brendan told him backstage that it is a Strictly tradition to rip your shirt off when you get your scores (instead of when you are dancing).

Personally, I don't like the whole shirt-ripping-off that always goes on in SCD - I find it a bit cringeworthy - but I would have to say that Gleb is massively more attractive than all the other guys.

Yes Gleb is an amazing looking guy but boy does he know it. Aliaz is great looking and has a good personality - Jay is just an adorable guy. The shirt removal was a desperate ploy for votes because of Anita being on first - a bit tacky for SCD

I think Aljaz has the "full package" really, good looks, charming, funny, kind, good teacher and lovely ballroom dancer. Gleb i think will take time to come out of his shell, but the signs were there last night (playing along with Claude)

I think there's a difference between performing like you're enjoying yourself and actually looking like you're genuinely enjoying yourself off the dance floor when the smiles are not for the routine, and I'm not sure yet gleb is quite there in the latter, but at least he doesn't look as serious or vacant as he did in the early weeks.

Oh come on naysayers, don't be so judgemental. It's hardly the first time a male dancer has taken off his shirt on Strictly or DWTS and Claudia started the whole joke by undoing her own 'Gleb' shirt!!! Gleb's playful and having a laugh - so what?

I think it took Karen Hauer a full series to get it, or perhaps lose her US sense of humour that kicked off at the wrong times.

That was my original point. He was shouting at the judges as well - entering into the spirit of the thing

I think Anita has been the key to it all. She has involved him so much in her professional life with Countryfile, like Matt Baker did with Aliona. So he probably feels so involved and welcome he is able to let go, and she has a great personality and is willing to give herself (literally) to the show.

Maybe Aljaž might have done better had he had Alison FIRST, then Abbey. The thing is with Artem is that he never had a funny zany partner like he did with Pattie LeBelle on DWTS so I feel like I never "knew" him so to speak
