Jenny is now 4-1
Has she been on 5 times?

As Bradley said, Jenny played superbly, but some of her Shaun-esque pauses on a couple of questions were too long, she should have just passed I think to save time.

Jenny is proving to be a very strong Chaser, taking just enough thinking time with each question. Only one she took too long then passed was the Meghan Trainor one.

Won her first three, lost that one game then we didn't see her for a lengthy spell until tonight

7 seconds left. If they had pushed her back on the tibia question I think they might have won it,

Hmmmm, Jenny's little anecdotes at the end of each answer she got correct, seemed somewhat rehearsed. Because of this, I am under the distinct impression that she knew what the questions were going to be, way in advance.

I still can't take to Jenny at all. She is dull and bland, (IMO) and doesn't seem to 'flow' like the others. Maybe it's just that she hasn't found her feet yet, but I don't enjoy watching The Chase when she is on it, as I find her a bit cringe to watch. I can't put my finger on it; maybe it's because I feel that all her lines are rehearsed.

If that is the case, then that stinks, because it means she knew the questions that were going to be asked, and could therefore have looked up the answers.

In addition, if that is the case with the others, then no wonder we never get the team winning sixty grand 5 or 6 times in a row.

SURELY 'The Chase' isn't fixed?!

I'd be very surprised if you were correct as I don't know why the producers would risk fixing the show and getting into serious trouble just so Jenny could get a few anecdotes?

Absolute rubbish, all tv quiz shows are highly adjudicated because of previous fixing scandals. There would be an outcry if there was even the slightest doubt that questions were leaked beforehand.

What makes Jenny's quips any more 'rehearsed' than the ones Mark or Anne come out with. She does have a very wide spread of general knowledge after all.

I thought that was a very good performance by Jenny there.
Because for pretty much the first 7 questions it looked like she was struggling on every single one, as she was taking ages to answer them, but somehow they appeared to be there somewhere.
The point is that taking her time paid off, as so often we see chasers such as Paul or Shaun struggle with some early questions and drop the ball because they get flustered.
And considering she was very cautious and took her time 18 was a pretty good target to reach.

Did Bradley say that she got 13 in a row correct?
If so that's impressive.

They just sound it to me. The 'quips' and anecdotes she comes out sound very rehearsed to me at times.

And this may come as a shock to you, but I AM entitled to my own opinion you know! Call it rubbish if you want; it says more about you than it does about me.

And I am not saying it IS fixed, just that Jenny's anecdotes after she gets the question correct, seem rehearsed. So it makes me a tad suspicious. I stand by my original post; if you don't like what I say, then tough.

I didn't really pay attention to the anecdotes, did they relate exactly to the question/answer? Maybe she rehearsed a bunch of interesting stories, and related them as she could?

If her comments sound rehearsed then it's probably because she's rehearsing them in her head as soon as the questions come up. She's new so she's probably quite nervous and trying to make a good impression. ITV aren't going to risk one of their most popular shows, just for the sake of getting in a couple of 5 second anecdotes by Jenny.

Liz was very good and quick, shaping up to be a good Final Chase.

Trish, oh dear, there's no excuse for running out of time

Thousand yard stare there... Blimey, she must have gotten stage fright halfway through her Chase?? Yikes. Possibly shaken up by the Cuckoo's Nest one?

She was very nervous throughout. Stage fright got the upper hand. I feel sorry for her.
