Is Sean yet again going on a go slow and getting questions wrong on purpose? then when he knows he cant catch up he starts to answer them quickly.
This is what really annoys me about this show and I've posted about it before - most of the time the final chase is a good one and fair but sometimes (and it is mostly Sean, although Paul seems to do it sometimes too) they seem to deliberately let the contestants win by your aforementioned getting questions wrong on purpose and also letting long pauses in between answers to generally easy questions by this shows standards. It is so transparent. I have never seen Anne, the new one (sorry, I've forgotten her name) or Mark do this, although the celebrity editions are much worse for this and I have seen Mark do this and I can't remember if it was him or someone else who said The Simpsons had blue skin in a celebrity edition.

I imagine she would come over as pretty attractive to the fellas.
And it turned out that she wasn't quite as dippy as she first appeared.
Made the guys look pretty daft for saying it was ok to go for the - 6000.

The new one (sorry, I've forgotten her name) doesn't need to do this to lose lol. But yes, it is annoying. They should play it straight every time, even if that means grinding some thicko team's faces, into the metaphorical dirt, with over a minute to spare.

Lucie is really annoying
Ooh I thought she was lovely she was full of personality and for an 18year old she was pretty good at some of the answers she gave!........ She will live off the story of that £10k win for a long long time, and will be very proud!........ Good on her......

I liked her a lot as well. In her position it would have been so easy to take the very stingy minus offer, especially after the guys had banked a good amount and given her their blessing to do so - I like to think she was rewarded for sticking to her guns and not taking money away from the others.

I liked her too! It was very brave of her to not go for the minus offer. It was a shame when the other lady got knocked out though. I hate it when just one person misses out on good fortune.

I really wish our team would have had Sean as the chaser when we were on - we'd have thrashed him! LOL

No audience as such, but I suppose they may have friends or family watching from the side?

Isn't there an audience? You'll be telling me there's no audience for Tipping Point next.

There is no audience but she kept looking to her right at someone. Maybe members of the crew were laughing at her when she was joking.

That's why they only got 16 in the final chase. And why Sean failed to catch them. The were all dribbling down their shirts too much to answer the questions.

edit: Bet the contestant researchers were high-fiving each other when Lucie turned up at the auditions.

Lucie is really dippy, in a charming sort of way, yet still managing to smash Shaun
shows the younger contestants how they should play the game - sensible guessing from her !
have to say she beat me, but then a slightly different set of questions would probably have had a quite different outcome

as to the 'slowing down' by some chasers, I'm not totally convinced
sure, if they have a low total, then why not take a little more time to get the right answers

anyway, well done to the team, they managed to make it an exciting final chase!

I should like to see Mark break into a canter. I doubt if it ever happens.

Donna passing too readily, some of those were worth a guess.

I have no sympathy for anyone who doesn't press the button in time.

With an answer that was easy for anyone with basic intelligence to guess.

Donna passing too readily, some of those were worth a guess.
Really irritates me when they don't guess a guessable answer: "Which colour.....?" "Which country.....?"
"Which bloody stinging insect.....?" "Oh, there are so many to choose from."

Yes he won easily, with a score of 11 to catch he caught the Final 2 players with 1 minute 11 seconds to spare.
