Jenny now 11-7

That's a 61% win rate which is getting very near to what it should be.

Poor Ben. Got to laugh at Wez standing there, hands in the air when Jenny said she was too good today as if he was unlucky.

She can't afford to let them win her win % is not good.
Is it?

I record The Chase and it feels like I've seen her win quite a bit more than lose. Paul seems to be iffy lately, if anyone. This could just be personal bias clouding my judgement as I don't much like him.

Edit: just saw the post at the top of this page, 11-7! Wow.

I was irritated by Wez gawking with amazement when Jenny got right questions that any decent pub quizzer would have known.

As to the woman on the team, did she even attempt to answer a question in the final chase?

This bloke is a total knob, remind me never to get near one of his shows.
Who books these idiots? I've noticed a few people on the fringes of showbiz slowly creeping in, more and more. They think they're hilarious but they're just annoying. If they want us to laugh at hopeless contestants, just select more students and teachers.

Ben could easily have won as part of a halfway decent team, but sadly his team was destined to be 'Ben and the Retards'.

I like Jenny. She's getting better without a doubt. Needed a confidence booster after she lost a one versus one 3 weeks ago and she seems to have got her act together.

Yet Bradley had the cheek to call them a great team. Even Jenny pointed out that it was mostly Ben. The other two were just ballast.

Jenny's winning streak continues, this is more like it from her

Hate to think what the reaction would have been had she lost that one
Well personally, I would've burned an effigy of her in the back garden but she won so she's my hero.

Ben would probably have had more chance of winning on his own. He'd have only had a one step start instead of three, but the time saved from not having to buzz in would have more than made up for that I think. The other two were virtual spectators in the final chase.

The way the bloke in the suit reacted in his head to head when he got through was a bit over the top, to say the least. He'd taken the low offer. If you take the low offer, then you should be getting through. It's not that difficult. You've only got to get four questions right, and you're four steps ahead of the Chaser.

Glad The Vixen won this one, felt sorry for Ben but having his pocket picked by that k**b Wes and the dumbed down Christine would have really got up my nose. If you go on this show you have a probable once in a lifetime chance to go for some big money so why go for the low offer? You go with nothing so go for it. Anyone hear Wes in the final chase after Bradley said you will need push backs, he came out with we can do this, well he didn't do anything at all answering wise in the two minutes, I think he meant Ben can do this. Wes should sign up Christine for a double act Dumb and Dumber.

Going for the low offer often makes sense and is often the unselfish option. What must be really galling for decent quizzers is when their team mates are useless at quizzing yet choose to go on a show like The Chase.

All of these episodes were recorded in the last series so you have no idea if this was her first recorded episode or her last recorded episode so can't say if she's improved or not.

Maybe best to see if she's improving once the next series starts in May as all of those episodes will have been recorded several months after all the ones in the current series.

Last night's episode was a classic example as to why this is a TEAM game.

Ben carried the whole team, answered virtually all the questions and was the only one who contributed (significantly) to the pot.

Yes - additional steps in the final chase can make a difference but if no one in your team even contributes to answers, it's very much harder to win.

This was the first time I wanted Jenny to win. Ben aside, who I felt a little sorry for, that was a horrible team. Wes (no Z, you numpty!) was a complete tool and the woman who took the minus was a complete coward.
Did either of them even press their buzzer in the final chase?

It was quite funny every time Jenny said Wez's name she emphasized the Z, as in "Wezzz". I don't think she was that impressed with the spelling.

I've certainly never seen Wesley or Wes spelled as Wez with a Z in it.
