Cripes, it's getting like the Daily Mail website on here! A lot of armchair preaching, and a certain user must post red arrow fodder on there regularly. Saying along the lines of, "I got 22 correct out of 25, but only 2 were incorrect" is a gem. Not counting as incorrect leaving no answer (effectively passing) seemingly to try and make a result sound better than it was is a little desperate, and have never come across that in a quiz, test or anything of the ilk.
Stating the bleedin' obvious, passing on a question still counts as NOT correct, so no score, money or whatever you're playing for. And, in the case of the rules of Mastermind, passing puts you in a worse position, as I guess most here know they are counted in the event of a tie.
Just to add, the Australian Chase presenter reminds me of the irritating robot taxi driver in Total Recall
