Well done team, Paul played well too but just slipped up on the cheese question under pressure.

That's the first time I've actually seen the Chaser walking off at the end
Paul was not happy

I saw Mark storm off once

I've seen Mark walk off a few times, but never Paul! He looked very embarrassed, I hope his slip up didn't get to him too much.

It was still a good performance from him! Bravo to the team though, they earned it.

Looked like Paul miscounted thinking he had caught them and then mucked up an answer he knew.
Yes I spotted that too. He reared up after answering question 20 as if he thought that he'd finished, but there was one question left to answer.

He was very annoyed with himself. You could tell by the way he walked off at the end.

I noticed that too - it's probably part of what threw him with the cheese question, trying to get back into gear after momentarily relaxing.

Also, from his twitter:

@paulsinha

Forgotten how good Liz was. All I remember was feeling absolutely, utterly devastated.

Brilliant final chase. Liz deserves most of the money. Paul walked off pretty quickly.

She really hasn't learned anything in her 60 odd years on the planet.

Dickens would have been Charles Dickens?? LMAO she is value for money!
I don't quite understand your amazement. It was perfectly logical reasoning that "what the dickens ...?" might have been something to do with Charles Dickens and, if that were the case, then it couldn't have been first used by Shakespeare and thus couldn't be the correct answer. So she went for one of the other two. It wasn't the case - as Jenny explained.

If he had tattooed the answers on his arm before the show he would be confused the next time he went on a quiz show.

Yes. And they're red, white and blue. He's three days late for St. George's day.

I know how frustrated you'd be, Stan, if you couldn't find fault with me.
