Outrageous to take the minus offer when you have earned £5,000. I don't agree with people taking it when they do badly, but at least their decision makes sense.

She was clearly good enough player to bring the money back, i don´t get taking the minus offer. I really hope they lose.

Totally agree. I admit that at times it does make sense to take the negative offer - especially when there is a substantial jackpot - but that hardly applies today unless Dot sweeps up!

Did anyone watch the Celeb Chase this weekend. Surprised how good Michael Parr was. Not surprised how truly dense Jennifer Metcalfe was.

Twitter to be jammed later with slating Emma and cue yet another article in the Metro about 'viewers slam 'selfish' player on The Chase'

Phew... That was close. They almost won with 16. Only 3 seconds remain in the clock.

Mark was slacking.

Ended up very close, Mark was mad about Brad's pronunciation of 'aux', must admit it confused me too, sounded like 'orcs'

I wouldn't mind poaching my eggs in Jenny's bathwater. Or hers even.

But they are homonyms.

Mark nearly made a mess of that. He was very lucky they didn't get more pushbacks.

Well.. there's a daily express article of people criticising Emma.

Don't start yelling at me ... Just a casual observation

Not collected any stats but it seems to be the vast majority of people who take the lower offer are female.

Emma taking the low offer - pretty poor - seems like Mark (Producers) guessed she might do that
Her contribution in the final chase was debatable - John Cleese! - just look at Matt's face when she came up with that one !

TBH, not as bad as some, remembered last year a mature bloke 1st one up who got £8K in the cashbuilder, but then went for the £1K offer

I remember someone who got £9,000 and then went for -£5,000. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!!

Why do some of you English people put an 'r' in a word for no apparent reason

e.g. 'I saw my brother yesterday, we had a right good laugh'

becomes 'I sawr my brother yesterday, we had a right good larf'

Because if 'brother' didn't have an 'r' it would be 'bothe'!

Yeah, very bad that. And the last question! I'm pretty sure you can't have number systems with a base of 0 or 1.
