I thought that was ridiculous - she said it as if it was incredibly impressive. Its really not.
The current rumour doing the rounds is that The Chase may be scrapped because Bradley has bee working on a new quiz show - Cash Strapped.
ITV may not want two shows headed by the same presenter on the same day.
Of course, they could get a new presenter but it would never be the same.

. Bradley *is* the Chase - he is a superb host.Compare him to those two boring talentless twonks who ruin Pointless and you can see how key Bradley is to the success of the format.
If Bradley did leave The Chase I have a terrible feeling that ITV would give the presenting gig to Vernon Kaye

Hang on, Cash Trapped, just like the Chase when it started with only Bradley, Mark and Shaun, is 10 episodes long.
Along with 500 Questions and apparently Rebound is returning, it looks like ITV is preparing to fill in a chase gap soon- it's gotta come off air soon anyway, we're on 2016 episodes. I think ITV just know Bradley is a firm favourite with people, with him presenting all the paladiums this year and his other show keep it in the family.
But if cash trapped is renewed, I doubt he could juggle the shows, they now record 190 episodes of the Chase a season. So just hope it's axed lol.
Broadcast has a completely different name for the new Bradley quiz show, unless he's making two

If they record 20 episodes a week then they can film 190 episodes in 10 weeks giving Bradley 42 weeks for other projects and time off. If they record 15 episodes a week they can film 190 episodes in 13 weeks given him 39 weeks for other projects.
The Chase is a big hit for ITV, heavily out-rating anything else ITV might put in its slot, so Bradley knows he has negotiating power to sell his new quiz idea. Equally, ITV could agree to only commission the new quiz if Bradley commits to The Chase.
There is no reason for Bradley to have to choose one quiz over the other.
Always watch this show but please could we have a face lift? Same formula and routine, same set, same repetitive jingles, same lines every time from Bradley. It needs some serious work done on it. But whatever no Vernon Kaye or anyone else with no talent, Brad is fine.

Yes. It annoys me that the same patter is used for every show.
It's not just this show or even this channel either. It's just the same on Eggheads.
It's as if the presenter or question master hasn't the intelligence to use his own words.
It makes them look foolish.
Also, why does the Chaser have to leave while each cash-builder is taking place?
It's unnecessary.
