Ah. Veel dank. Dat is interessant.

agree with Sarahsaurus, the contestants 'that low offers an insult' patter is becoming a wee bit tiresome - think the producers should suggest them being a bit more inventive !

good to see that the 'Volvo Emissions Scandal' is indelibly ingrained on the general publics memory

Good player knocked out quick smart. Not looking very hopeful for today's team.

Question for Lizzie there

In the American Chase, in the cashbuilder, the contestants get $2000 which is about £1400-£1500.

Is it time to raise each question to 2 grand each maybe? Or maybe even £1500?

It's been £1000 a question since it started.

I doubt the production company would see any advantage in doing so. It would significantly increase the budget per show if they doubled the prize money, but would it make any more people watch it that currently don't?

I believe the cash prizes in the US Chase are prone to being taxed though, so it's a bit of an inflated amount.

Besides, I don't think ITV would want to give away any more money if they could help it. :P

Some tough multiple choice questions today, I'd have had to guess all three of the ones Chris got wrong too.
