One of those women was really annoying. She took the minus offer and then couldn't answer any questions in the final chase. She said she was 'gutted' in not winning her share of the £56K. She would have had a free ride if they had won, so it's no surprise she was disappointed, but I think she went home with what she deserved (eg nothing).

She was NOT annoying. She is young and looking for a way to pay for her further education. The team were behind her in taking the minus offer. Good luck to her!

Grace is a disgrace.
Regardless, they would still have lost.

I found her annoying.
So did I. Her OTT reactions were ridiculous.

Well done on getting on the show

Unlucky on not beating Mark, but at least you got on the show and had a great time

Was Mark the chaser you wanted to play all along or would you have liked to have played one of the others
I actually wanted Shaun (I just think he's lovely). Glad we got beaten by one of the best though.

Agreed, she seemed to think the whole show revolved round her. Selfish airhead

And goodnight, go and rest your very swollen ego.
If he's in the top 2%, just call me Einstein!
At least he had a logical reason for the music question answer - fair enough.

The other two questions are typical Chase questions, though: extremely hard as open questions, but in multiple choice, very guessable. I would expect an intelligent person to be able to spot the Tantalus/tantalising link or the even more obvious, as Jenny reminded him, on his way out, Ephemera/ephemeral mayfly link. I got them both, from the comfort of my armchair - he didn't seem to be able to apply his certified intelligence on the spot or even later, once the time pressure was gone. Strange.

Compare him to Friday's contestant, who quickly and correctly inferred that ferredoxin just had to be related to iron - and elicited that sigh from Paul that such as easy-to-work-out question had come up.

not to do with the chase - but ive been trying to start a thread in this forum, but it wont let me fill the title in so therefore wont let me submit..

do you have to have a set number of posts or something to start a thread? I'd start a thread to ask, but i can't!!!

There's a glitch at the moment which is stopping anything being typed in the title box

What you have to do is, if you have Notepad go into that type your thread title and copy and paste it into the title box
