To be honest I can remember TW3 and the Frost report. Old.
I can remember VE day, the day Princess Elizabeth got married and coronation day.
Beat that, Stanley.

So JOC, is it going to be a monarchy or republic. Or to put it another way Queen Nic the first, or Empress Nicky?

I have an inkling that Nicola Sturgeon is really Angela Merkel's love-child.

My preference is a Republic but more likely to retain your monarch

It's Paul today. A repeat which I vaguely remember but don't know who wins.

According to radio times up to and including 6th July are all repeats. That's the furthest it would go.

A wild stab in the dark but I'm going to guess Paul.

It was really weird, audience members are expected to wear clothing.

Strange, according to the internet John Major is 183cm (about 5ft 10" in old money) Yet according to the question he was too tall to become a bus conductor. I wonder what the cut off was?

183cm is just over 6ft. The way I calculate is to divide the cm's by 5 and multiply by 2 giving 73 inches approx which is 6ft 1in

Or . . . . if you look up an online conversion chart, it tells you that 183 cms = 72.04"

Yep I got it wrong it is 6ft, still not exactly giant haystack territory, maybe the bus ceiling was only 6ft???

That document is from 1946. Not many of us alive then! Some exceptions.
