Yes there are sometimes two losses in a week.

Not having them back to back just ruins the episodes after the chaser has lost, as you know they won't the day after. They need to mix it up more. We never get losses on a Monday either. I don't know why.

I only watch it for the Chasers and to see how well they get on personally.
