I don't think so. He would likely have got through with the middle offer and he cost everyone £2500.

£1,500

He had £6000 in his cash builder and took -£4000. That's a £10000 difference or £2500 each.

You're not wrong Stanley.
I need an accountant to manage my vast estate.
Are you free?

Paul Sinha on twitter earlier- "Another day, another series of depressing tweets from people that don't understand mathematics or gameplay'. I'm guessing that was directed at the people who insult minus offer takers. I agree with Paul so much on that one.

If Paul is referring to Thursday's show, which I assume he is, then, not for the first time, he is talking drivel. The extra step was not worth a negative £10k on such a relatively small jackpot.

I absolutely agree. The negative offer almost halved the prize pot. Awful little man.

We're all entitled to our opinions but, in this particular gameshow, the contestants are a team unlike Tipping Point, for example, where each person is playing for him/herseif.

First up is a retired geologist, is it unfair to say he's an old fossil?

A minus offer for the 2nd player, come on Shaun that's so unfair. He's even grumpier than usual tonight.

Just put this on now.

What an awful egotistical bloke. Isn't giving her a chance before he passes. Urgh.

Paul what an idiot. Wasting time. Giving wrong answers. Buzzing in to pass when Annie knows the answer. Would hate to play alongside.

Good performance from Shaun though.
