There was a guy on the other night, whom the chaser said was a prolific quizzer, meaning on tv. Does anyone know which quizzes he has been on? They do seem to do a tour of the quiz shows. Like with the search for new eggheads.
IIRC Mark said he knew him from the quiz circuit so he may not necessarily have done any TV quizzes.

That gardener in 1776 question. What the hell kind of question is that?
I got that question right. An educated guess. Have you not heard of the renowned gardener Capability Brown?

Just been doing some political research and, examining the responsibility of MPs, to reveal all monies they received, Diane Abbott was first alphabetically. What has this to do with the chase?
In 2013, she received £5k for appearing on a celebrity edition of the show.
I wonder what the chasers get?
I've often wondered if the celebs got paid, and if they did, how much.

Bearing in mind they only get a thousand each for their charity if they lose (and I think they have to make the Final Chase to get that), a lot of the time the celebs will be doing a lot better out of it financially than their charities will.

Do all the celebs get the same money, I wonder, or is it negotiated with their agents how much they get? Some might get more than others, depending on how big a name they are.

I doubt the Chasers will get as much as five grand a show. That would be about £200,000 a year each, which is not bad for one day's work a week and two or three months off in the summer.. Not to mention if they were, I suspect Bradley would be getting about the same. And he does every show. At about 200 shows a series, he'd be on about a million a year.

And worth every penny!

Not a good start on question one. Easy question about the colour of Welsh rugby shirts.

First time, I've heard the excuse for a 17th century question being "it's a bit after my time".

Yep looking like an easy team. She would have been slaughtered by yesterday's team.

Only if you know the answer.
Plenty of people have no interest in Rugby.

You don't need to know anything about rugby to know red is synonymous with Welsh sport.

I could pick 10 people at random, off the street, who had no interest in rugby and I bet most could answer that one.

Didn't you know, it's just bad form to read a book that was written before you were born?
