Jenny Ryan had so many wrong answers today against a poor team. She is not Chaser standard. Plus she is incredibly boring as well.

I think I'm right in saying that for the past seven weeks' Jenny's team has been the weakest in terms of total cashbuilders. Her stats are now very slightly better than Shaun's (% wise)
The Chasers' losses are now becoming predictable too. Not counting the 1000th episode where they had all the Chasers participating the last eleven losses have been SW PS JR AH ML SW PS JR AH ML SW Mark - 1 (out of 16 games) Shaun - 1 (out of 16 games) Anne - 1 (out of 18 games) Paul - 0 (out of 17 games) Jenny - 5!! (out of 12 games) She's getting it really easy. |

The Chasers' losses are now becoming predictable too. Not counting the 1000th episode where they had all the Chasers participating the last eleven losses have been SW PS JR AH ML SW PS JR AH ML SW On Monday Mark faced a team that got a total of £27,000 in their Cashbuilders. I don't know when Jenny last faced a team that managed even £20,000 between them (which is the average). Jenny is also facing poor targets to chase down in the Final. She seems to be regularly facing totals like 12, 9, or today of only seven. If Jenny's stats are getting better it is hardly surprising. This is one reason why the Chasers' win percentage can be misleading, because it doesn't take into account the strength of the teams they face. Of course it is entirely up to the production team how they decide the teams. One of the things that lets the Chase down is its predictably. They almost never show two wins in a row. If there's only one win during the week, it will usually be one of the middle days, not Monday or Friday. Thus if Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the Chaser has won, they are very likely to lose on Thursday (and then of course win again on Friday). I don't know why they do this, the programme has been on long enough now you would think they could try mixing it up a bit. |

The England - Scotland game is a reflection of today's game. It's pass pass pass.

Just get rid of Jenny. She is not good. She is not entertaining. The teams she comes up against are an absolute joke. Just get rid and we'll all pretend like it never happened.

I've been saying this for a while about Jenny and people were skeptical at first (most people, as well as myself, were hoping it was just a phase and she'd eventually face some half-decent teams) but at this point you can't deny the show somehow fixes the teams she faces. It doesn't make for interesting viewing when you see her coming across the bridge because you know she's going to easily destroy another pathetic team and beat another chase record of the quickest catch, artificially boosting her stats. The quality of her teams have been decreasing since she lost 3 games in a row from December last year until late January, at that time she was facing teams with average scores (14-18 in the final chase). There was also that time she lost £75,000 against a team who scored 17. The show doesn't trust her and that's why they've been dumbing down her teams ever since.

She just isn't up to the job. What's more she has no personality. Sorry Jenny. I'm sure you're a very nice lady but you're the wrong person for this job. |

Today's show went on break at 17.45, one of the very later times. From that you can already tell it's going to be over very quickly. |

It was more of a question though, seeking clarification. It's not everyday they leak the final result early.

Whilst i would like to see her perform against some stronger teams, it seems to have escaped her critics' notice that she knocks most of the contestants out in the second round. Incidentally, I have read that Anne is very upset at the criticisms levelled at Jenny, particularly as she recommended her for the job. |

It's not that you know what happens. It's that you spoil others enjoyment by telling everyone the result. It's stupid, childish and thoughtless.

What about when ITV spoiled the result of the 90,000 prize fund win last year? Things do get spoiled. And like I said, it really was more a question. And to be honest, I have had quite a few things spoilt for me recently. The difference between us, is that I don't evoke hostility and anger. I stay positive, knowing I haven't actually seen it for myself yet. I think there's a difference between spoiling something that you don't actually know is true, and intentionally doing so, because you do.
So you've had things spoiled for you recently. Does that make it alright for you to spoil things for others? NO! That makes it sound like revenge. Revenge is not nice and it is also misplaced to do it here. You DO evoke hostility and anger from others. That is the very thing that you do. Stop being so childish. Stop ruining things for others. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Agree with this, wish they would mix it up, two wins in a row or a win on a Monday for once. Or no wins all week!

We've been saying that for ages...the day after a win, we're always saying "oh this lot won't win, they won yesterday." It makes certain games boring to watch knowing that, no matter how good the team may be, they aren't going to win because ITV don't shake things up.
When stats were posted in DS a few years back I'm sure the Chasers were losing about a third of their games. Have they now got their win rate up to 80%? Cos that's what exactly one team week EVERY EFFING WEEK (yawn!) equates to. Surely we have to have two wins in the same week NOW AND AGAIN. |
