I was a Tuesday, what does that say about me?

Check this site Lizzie to find your day of birth

http://www.dayofbirth.co.uk/
Monday's child is fair of face
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day
Is bonny and blithe and good and gay

I already I know I was born on a Wednesday. Bombs were dropping all around and the midwife was afraid to come out to my poor old mum but I made it anyway!

At last, a TV presenter who correctly pronounces 'kilometre' ! Now all we have to do is stop him saying 'was you' !

I like to think that the poem is wrong and that I'm NOT full of woe.
But, if that's how I come over, so be it.

They went around 30 seconds without getting one right. Veronica didn't contribute much.

Dithering Shaun could've passed and answered another question faster.

Very lucky the Douglas Adams question (or pigs in blankets for that matter) didn't come back to bite him.

Gotta feel sorry for the team though, they had about 30 seconds of not getting anything. At least one could have done it for them. (Though I do believe Shaun's speed is relative to the higher his target is. Higher, the faster.)

Surprised Shaun wasn't absolutely sure about Blenheim being in 1704. He said, "I think it was in 1704."

I would have thought he would have known the Duke of Marlborough's "phone number", BROM 4689, which gives the years of his four victories:

Blenheim 1704
Ramillies 1706
Oudenarde 1708
Malplaquet 1709.

You often find that the chasers start dithering when they havent got a particularly high score to catch, they get a couple of questions wrong to help make it look like a closer contest. Occasionally the chasers will go for it on a small target, which in my book is much better but it creates better TV for them to dawdle along and make it appear that the losing team havent lost by much. All wrong though.

Haha, only excuse I have is that my laptop is playing up, need to treat myself to a new one. Currently using a tablet and keep having to correct text. Missed that one though.

I agree with both of you. I think she has been very good recently.
Remember, she has the fastest solo catch (24 seconds) and the fastest 3-player catch (53 seconds) on her record, so she does have good form.
A lot of this has to do with age and practice - the other 4 had a few years' start on her and she is the youngest. As you get older, you hear the answers more often.

Tablet? Luxury! I have to dictate semaphore to a neighbour across the road and they enter it for me.

feel sorry for the team - so close !

the young lad turned out to be very good in the final and really needed a little more help from the other 2 - eg: the Mark Twain Q

Saun did make it tricky for himself, taking along time on the Douglas Adams Q, but I'm not convinced it was deliberate as I also have trouble remembering his name (Charlize Theron amongst others!)

Other way round actually and he probably doesn't realise it's a subjunctive

I'm sure we all have our own opinions.
In my eyes, he certainly isn't the worst.
