As predicted, Paul played today, and lost.

So it'll be Mark tomorrow, and he'll win.

Next week, expect to see Jenny lose.

Probably on Wednesday or Thursday.

I've corrected the erroneous omission from your post.

Well if the producers insist on showing absolutely no imagination in the order they transmit the programmes, with the number of wins, days of wins, and even Chaser losing order so regimented, it isn't that difficult to work out.

At the moment the Chaser "loser order" is Shaun, Paul, Jenny, Anne, Mark. It was poster Paul Brookbanks who pointed out this order on this thread last week.

Thus I would strongly suspect next week's loser to be Jenny, with Anne second favourite. This is assuming they keep to the now standard one win a week formula.

Bet people were slagging the guy off and what not, but he absolutely done the right thing taking minus 10. Good tactics from the team.

Yeah I dissed him a bit and was proved wrong.
His performance in the final chase was excellent. I liked his astonishment at getting the Madame Butterfly question right!

I reckon Camilla would go like a train as well. 😳😀

I had similar thoughts watching her.

It's been a while! 😕

So now we have fairly well established the current "rules".

The team will almost certainly lose if any of the following four criteria are met. If more than one is met, they have next to no chance:

A) It's a Monday
B) It's a Friday
C) The team won the previous day
D) The Chaser they are up against lost last time out.

Basically in about half the games, you can now predict the result within the first five minutes, just by applying the above rules. In fact disregarding rule D), which is the only one which refers to the Chaser who's on that day, you can predict the result in about half the games before the show's even started.

By including the Chaser "loser order" formula as well, (Shaun, Paul, Jenny, Anne, Mark), I think you could predict the result almost every time, after knowing who the Chaser is, and that's without even seeing any of the Cashbuilders and finding out how good or bad the team is.

But what do I know? Presumably the production team think they know best.

And all the Chasers losing exactly 20% of their games? Convenient (he says almost morphing into one of those conspiracy theorists he despises so much).

Me too.

But, of course, that would be just silly. It would confuse the contestants far more than it would confuse the Chasers, and how often do the Chasers need to copy the contestants' answer anyway?

He doesn't need it.

Salman Rushdie created the cream cakes slogan. 'Naughty But Nice' as well as for Aero and 'That'll do nicely' for American Express.

Didn't he use that joke only a few days ago?
