She had a shocker there. Weak team.

As soon as she heard Keanu reeves she should have guessed Matrix.

One pushback too many there.

What a terrible team. Good enough to beat Jenny though.

It wouldn't have been that as I heard the word 'remake'.

Awful from Jenny. She really shouldn't be a chaser.

Like Bradley said, "good match". Weak team, weak chaser.

Yeah, no point passing on that kind of question. I think Jenny gets a bit nervous in the final chase.

She passed because she knew it was either fifties or sixties, and realised the team knew that too, had she chosen wrong the team knew it would be the other and guess correctly.

I actually thought that was very interesting, as Bradley commented that it was a 'shrewd move' by Jenny. As if she had guessed, the team would have been reasonably confident about it being one decade either side of her guess, giving them a good chance of a pushback.

Whether or not that was actually her deliberate reason for passing will never be known.

Yeah, her body language in the last 10 seconds became pretty surprisingly emotional.

How did she not know Brit Ekland was married to Peter Sellers. That's pretty common knowledge.

Well well well. Jenny loses to a score above 12. Whoever would have guessed?

Shoddy.

The Chase Production team should cut their losses and axe Jenny Ryan from the show.
She really is not up to the quizzing calibre of the other four Chasers.

That doesn't sound to me like a very good tactic, if it was deliberate. If she knows it's fifties or sixties she should guess one of them. OK, if she gets it wrong, then the team pick the other one and get the pushback. Her chance of winning the point is fifty percent, and so is the team's.

But if she passes it, they might know the answer anyway without having to guess, in which case you've just handed them a pushback without a fight. Even if there's only a twenty percent chance they know the answer, and they guess the other eighty percent, their overall chance of getting the question right is sixty percent. Thus passing makes the team favourite for the point because there will be some chance, however small, that one of them knows the answer. By guessing first you effectively nullify this advantage. Even if they don't know the answer, and have to guess themselves, they have the same fifty percent chance of guessing right that the Chaser had, assuming they also know that it's either the fifties or the sixties. So passing the question really offers no advantage, even if they don't know it.

Thus in a situation like this you are much better off taking a guess at it yourself rather than pass it.

She didn't know The Black Tulip was by Alexandre Dumas?? By far the earliest of the three.

100% correct. Her faux character is also deeply pathetic. She needs to find a different line of work.

Agree with the masses here. Jenny is a crap chaser. Nothing going for her at all. Dull, not very bright, no sense of humour, nothing.

Get rid and just keep the other 4.
