That's the first time I've ever heard anyone describe the lower offer as "offensive".

I hope he won't be taking the lower offer when it's his turn, then.

Poor team so far this.
Well they've only got nine thousand so far in the Cashbuilders, and statistically seats 1 and 2 are the two strongest seats.

So unless we see something special from the last two it looks like Jenny's team will once again fall short of the average of twenty thousand for the team.

In fairness, Brad pulled out some good answers there.

Come on, that should be a fairly bread and butter sports question.

Nick, you need to hit the "Quote" button before you make your comment.
Then we'll know what you're talking about.
Fair point not explaining what I'm on about (the Brian Clough question), but I'm not sure how using the quote button would help...?

Sorry! In future, I'll clarify which question I'm grumbling about.

So not a poor team, a better than average one today.

Total Cashbuilders for this team is £21K, so above average. First time I've seen that against Jenny for a while.

Blimey, seat 4 going high.

She got the first one wrong (what was it?) and then was on the ropes (but lucky!) all the way but didn't know about icebergs.

Shame for Matt.

There's no hope for Jenny if she doesn't beat this score.

Jenny played well today. Caught with just under a minute to go is a good achievement by any chaser.

I dont really see why he bothered. There was no chance of him winning by himself.

What, so he should just say, "Right, I'm not going to bother with the Final Chase, because I can't win."? That would look good. How are they going to fill the last ten minutes?

He got twelve, was it? Twelve has won before. Solo players have won before.

"It's not whether you win or lose, it's how you played the game."

Poor Chaser too.
Jenny demonstrating her unworthiness to be a Chaser by thinking that Henry Moore sculpted The Kiss.
Dear Grumpie, the question was about the sculpture 'Eternal Springtime' rather than 'The Kiss'. I know what has confused you, age. Soz, 'a kiss' was also mentioned but they are two different sculptures.

Oh give over!

It doesn't matter whether she wins or loses, there's always a few people on here ready to give her a slating.

Knock it off, it's getting tiresome now.

That's what confused me, too. I didn't know about Eternal Springtime, and assumed it was the formal name for The Kiss sculpture.

So I got it right, but for the wrong reasons.
