Sparrow?

It'll be interesting to see if Marcia contributes in the final chase.

It had to be 'you'. Geoff said one of the hits was 'From Me To You' which contains both 'me' and 'you'.

Maybe have shaken her gently by the throat.

Compared to Twitter, Marcia is getting off lightly on here. They've got her hung, drawn and quartered.

There's a ruby-throated sparrow who regularly visits my garden. I named him Robin.

Sounds like a chaffinch to me.

Yeah, that would be their option when they get a different answer to one they were expecting
I've always suspected the seamless final program the viewers see is very much not how it happens
Must be tricky keeping the timing fair & correct in the final chase if there are unexpected interruptions

There was only one place, late on in the bill where the units were mentioned - the main part is just the numbers from the meter.”

The Electricity bill example Q I gave was just another example of a poorly worded Q

It rivals the 'name an apple/Apple product' question which caused confusion throughout the land.

If ever there was a generation defining question that was it.

Oh, please tell us what the contestant answered!

Except it wasn't poorly worded. It was poorly understood.

The actual question was 'which vowel precedes apple products?'

The lady was nonplussed for a few seconds, obviously thinking apple not Apple - as I was and probably most people over 30 or so, and randomly said 'c'.

Maybe thinking of custard or something in the pressure of the moment.

A very poorly worded question.

Even if you haven't a clue, there's only 5 vowels in the alphabet. C, isn't one of them.

You are conveniently forgetting the confusion and pressure of the situation.

Quite myriad of possible answers for that one

One that was from a couple of months back was (I thnk I got the Q correct):
Name the middle Bronte sister ?
Shawn answered Anne, but was given a wrong answer

It could be either Emily (if only considering the 3 writers) or could be Anne as there were actually 5 daughters in total

Just because you don't understand a question does not mean that it is poorly worded.

I am well over 2 x 30 but I knew.
But then I've got an ipad.

But I agree that the pressure of the moment has to be taken into account.

So she thinks Damascus is a country.

I don't think she understood the question.
