This lass is not the cleverest but she does have a good sense of humour.

I thought everyone knew that 'messages' means the shopping.
Just feel sorry for the reasonably intelligent applicant who was blocked from competing by her

What's the betting Yvette takes the minus offer?

Mind you whatever she gets in the cashbuilder the minus offer will be a no brainer.

I honestly don't think I'd mind someone taking a minus offer if I was in Cliff's shoes, even if it is as high as -£10k. Rather have help playing for £17.5k than going solo for £45k!

Nope I'd rather go it alone than carry the deadwood.

Spot on. What a surprise! (Where's the rolls eyes emoticon when you need it?)

I'll bet!
In the Final Chase, Yvette answered three times but only got one answer right.

They did well.

I don't know why anyone taking the minus offer is met with such animosity (more so on Twitter than anywhere else). A minus offer is given to be taken. For as long as they give it someone will take it.

Totally agree, it was pretty much the perfect way to play the game. The best player goes high and seat 4 goes low to ensure an extra step in Final Chase. OK she only got one correct but the guy was so quick on the buzzer and Yvette did get some of the pushbacks right.

Yes she did but cliff knew them anyway and was just conferring and as it turned out he didn't need the extra step. She robbed him!

She could still have beaten that woman on Celebrity Mastermind, last night. I'm surprised she could remember her way back to her seat.

As well as that, they had no idea Paul would've been so terrible in the final chase so that extra step could've ended up being the difference of walking home with 10's thousands of pounds and nothing.

I thought it was a bit of a no-brainer going for the minus, especially seeing as it was so low. I was expecting something in the region of -£10k.

In ordinary circumstances, it would make sense to have that extra head for the final chase, but they could never predicted how badly Paul would play.
