The largest amount of money brought through to The Final Chase during the daytime civilian series is £90,000. This was achieved on 17 June 2015 with three contestants going through, setting 20 steps for the Chaser Shaun Wallace. The Chaser was only able to score 14, meaning that the contestants split the pot, taking home £30,000 each.

The highest ever win?

I thought you were asking what the largest win ever was cause you already posted what the largest win on the daytime version was.

Sounds ridiculous, but Dev Patel is British and he was the star, so it's not that crazy.

I couldn't remember whether Freida Pinto was actually Indian or whether she was British too.

If they'd just said Indian, though, they'd both be £35k richer.

Mind you, he nearly threw it away when he couldn't remember an embassy is the residence of an ambassador.

It was part of the Text Santa thing where he was going to invade every ITV show yesterday.

I saw him in David's shop in Emmerdale and they also showed him as one of the contestants in I'm A Celebrity

Did anyone else notice on last nights episode, the dog in top left hand corner of screen kept switching between the 'itv' logo and the words 'tippingpoint' every few seconds, right through the entire programme.

Lions in a jungle???”

It's when chasers answer questions like this I get very skeptical.
If you think of all the wildlife shows you've ever seen on television, how many of them have shown lions in a jungle?

When you lose about £70,000 and there's only a second or two in it, or one or two questions you fluffed earlier, It would hurt a lot more.
If I was going to lose that amount of money I'd rather the chaser had plenty of time left because at least you could say that you had no chance anyway.

If it had been one of the other chasers, like Mark or Anne, that had said that I would have been skeptical. But Shaun regularly gets easy questions wrong, even when there's hardly any money involved or the contestant is already practically home and dry.

I think he can just be a bit of a dolt at times.

And you can tell from his reaction and from Bradley's that he feels humiliated at having got such questions wrong. Neither of them are that good an actor.

Recently been growing a bit suspicious on how often the Chaser's favourite subjects seem to prop up. I think Anne gets a disproportionate number of literary questions, Mark mathematics and Shaun always seems to get at least a couple of football questions in the head to heads.

19 - not bad. Will Paul do it? Which means only 16 they got.
