The most money offered to a contestant by The Chaser in the multiple choice chase round during the normal (non-celebrity) series is £80,000. This amount was offered on 2 January 2014 by Chaser Mark Labbett and again by chaser Anne on 15th December, 2015. The contestant with Anne accepted the offer and was caught by her after getting a few questions correct.
With the chaser Mark: The contestant accepted the offer, but was caught by The Chaser and therefore did not take it through. £80,000 has been offered before. |

Nurofen are being investigated for bogus claims so will the same happen to Anadin who have a product for everything? It might get those awful ads off The Chase.

Maybe he was faking it and will storm this round.
It would have been quite funny if he'd gone for the low offer of £100 - and got through. I wonder if Bradley would have tried to talk him out of it. |

If he gets through he won't beat Anne.
If he doesn't, who should take her on? |

Has anyone ever beaten the chaser when all four are caught and the team are brought back for one last go?
Or do they just do it because otherwise the show would be 10 minutes too short! |

Or do they just do it because otherwise the show would be 10 minutes too short! As you say probably the main reason they do it is to fill the remaining time up. |

She seems to live with that bloke and they've got two kids. They could be married. So who's she going on a date with? You don't go on "dates" with your husband, do you? |

![]() If something was 'before your time' then you may not have come across it. It's a valid comment. Obviously not for history questions from centuries ago, but for popular culture etc it's a fair thing to say. For example, my musical knowledge from 1992 onwards is almost encyclopedic, but before that time it's very average as I was either not born or too young to be aware. If you asked me who sang a random 1970s or 1980s song I probably wouldn't know because it is indeed 'before my time.' I don't see why you think it's an unreasonable thing for contestants to say? |

Not to mention it has Ibuprofen written on the bloody box! Why would you spend over £2 on those branded products when you could get a generic pack of Ibuprofen for about 30p!

Date night is actually a thing - http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/de...ish/date-night I think it's a bit of a new trend; Tina Fey was in a recent comedy about it.
Incidentally I am getting a bit worried about the amount of pills this pair are throwing down their throats. They must be going through packets and packets a week!
