Yesterday was also flagged in Sky epg as just "The Chase" rather than "New: The Chase". The film of the chasers during the 'who will you be facing' sequence for the first player was different to recent days and no sign of Jenny.

Definitely a repeat.

Roy Roger's horse called Tonto and he didn't know the name of Beckham's daughter. Come on!!.

BW accepted just "Betty" (no surname from Sinha) for the Coronation St answer and allowed him the second answer on the biretta question when he clearly gave the answer "hat" and not the required answer of head. No consistency.

Although the Beckhams always seem to be in the media, some of us just switch off, mentally. I gave the answer Harpic.

I believe it's a repeat of the Text Santa episode that was on just this Friday gone.

Yes. I'm always amazed when contestants know something like the name of Beckham's daughter (I don't have a clue what it is) and think they must be really good quizzers and then they get an easy question and the illusion is broken.

Indeed, I quite often exclaim : "Why would anyone know that?" While I've heard of mickey beckham, I've no idea what his daughter's called.

Oops. sorry, it's not mickey, is it ...I'm thinking of a different footballer - rooney.

I'm sure of all the repeats they could have screened, Paul Sinha will be delighted they chose that one yesterday! Not his best performance it's fair to say.
