Going out on a question about her 'specialist' subject is pretty poor and this next player doesn't look any better.
I don't mind the contestants in Tipping Point not knowing much of anything, it's not that kind of show.
But in The Chase the contestants are up against some of the best quizzers in the UK, they must be able to challenge them and so often these days they are just hopeless.
This is why I stopped watching, until today. Switched it off again.

Well, it's about time. In previous episodes, his defence of their failure, in the face of total hopelessness and ignorance, was incredibly patronising at times.

She was also cowardly and wimped out with the middle offer, she should have gone either low or high but not the middle.
It must be galling for the others that someone with that level of general knowledge would go on this show. Tipping Point would have been understandable and she was thick enough to win that.
