True. I'd like to know if there's an audience in the normal versions.
There isn't. I have explained this in my previous post. If there was an audience you would see them, as you do in the celebrity editions. But you never see them in the normal editions.. Ever. Why not? Because there is no audience to see. A production company is not going to film a game show in front of a live audience and then never show them, otherwise what would be the point of having them there? |

if they showed them as they were filmed, there would be times when there were seven or eight in a row without a win, or even more. But at least it would make it a bit less predictable. If there hasn't been a win by Wednesday, there will usually be one on the Thursday or Friday because they hardly ever go a week without showing a win.

They film three per day, if I remember correctly. Whilst the production crew imply that all chasers are sat about in the Green Room and they don't know it's going to be until they come out, I suspect they really only do one chaser per day. So you'd get blocks of three of the same chaser if they did show them in recording order.
I think making one Chaser do three shows in one day would be rather mentally exhausting in fairness. |

No, they definitely have 3 Chasers a day. Anne stated in an interview that she handles the morning slots, and usually goes back to support the Chaser in the evening slot (which is usually Shaun).

Well done Jo, should be good Final Chase. If they can get at least 20 then they have great chance of winning the £60K

Yes you hear laughter and the like during the show, but during the actual final chase itself I haven't heard 'audience' participation. |

20 grand each. Brilliant. Lot's of Chasers losing or coming close to losing these days.

I think Paul was playing very well there, but then floundered over a couple of questions near the end and lost two pushbacks.
Paul's main problem is that he appears to be the Chaser who's the most prone to allowing pressure get to him and getting flustered when the pressure is on. I've seen it a few times with him, and I've seen him just give up when it gets too much for him. |

The first word's got three letters so it's probably THE. Then the second last word has two letters so there's a good chance that's OF. So we've got THE L _ _ _ _ _ _ - _ _ _ _ _ -OF- _ _ _ _. And it's a landmark. It almost has to be The Leaning Tower of Pisa. |

I believe you, but didn't it feel different to you to hear the audience near the end of the Chase a couple of nights ago where you could hear 'the audience' ooing and ahhing in anticipation at the team being close to winning and then expressing disappointment when they lost?
