Let's hope the last lady goes through or the final chase will be an embarrassment.
(They might finish early and have to show a cartoon or five mins of trailers!) |

Jill did better than I'd expected but they'll be crushed.

They did well but Anne zipped through her questions and didn't give them a chance with many pushbacks.

Player four should have gone for the high offer without a doubt. OK she might get knocked out but so what? With only two players left they're probably not going to win anyway. She might as well take a chance and go for the big money.
I noticed player three winced when player four said she was going middle, but what did she want her to do? Go low? OK she'll probably get through, but then what are they playing for? A thousand each? Surely it's worth taking a chance and going high. If I'd been player three I'd have been telling player four to take a chance and go high. I wouldn't be saying, "I need you back here", not when there's only a thousand pounds in the pot. If player four gets knocked out I'll live with it. I'd rather she took a chance and went for the big money than she gets through and we're playing for next to nothing. Having said all that, if I'd been player three and the first two had been knocked out, I'd probably have gone high myself. Going low as player three is really only worth it if you think you can persuade player four to go high, and you think they've some chance of getting through. If not, the only way to have a chance of getting big money out of it is to go high yourself. |

I think there might be a big win today, Shaun has let 3 get away on the one question shoot-out.

I think it was a reasonable decision to go for minus £6,000. The previous player should probably have taken the minus offer as well.

Good on her. She's not their mate. She'll never have to see them again. Why not give herself a chance of a few grand? Anyway, they seem pretty sanguine about it.

Seems like someone's had a word with Shaun about his long pauses during the final chase. He's much more on the ball these days, that was an easy catch.

Just because four get through doesn't mean they'll win

Casey scored six in the final, more than anyone else.
How many would they have scored without her? |
