Seems like someone's had a word with Shaun about his long pauses during the final chase. He's much more on the ball these days, that was an easy catch.

I've never heard of the expression, beetle browed before. Is it regional?

Very glad that the team lost tonight.
Even though Casey kind of redeemed herself in the final chase somewhat and Robin tried his best. They other two were great at doing nothing, |

I always think it's a pretty loose definition of a team. They just sit in the same area. Apart from that they answer questions to the best of their individual ability. There are many times that the conferred with "teammates" urge a weak member to go for an amount higher than they should sensibly attempt. Not much teamwork there.

From what I've read on here from Chase contestants, they aren't given much opportunity to meet and confer, before the show starts. A deliberate tactic by the production to reduce their chances of winning , no doubt.

The middle two probably had the biggest case for going low, there wasn't much difference between the two offers, but neither of them did. There was a much bigger swing in the two offers for Casey - and of course she was the one that did end up going low.
Today is an example why the first player often doesn't get much advantage from taking the risk and going high - by the time they'd all played, his share of it was down to only seven thousand. Casey said she liked doing quizzes and it was competitive - then freely admits to never having heard of any of The Brothers Karamazov, Sons and Lovers or Uncle Tom's Cabin, and puts Patrick Stewart in the same acting era as Stewart Granger and Jimmy Stewart. Although to fair she did well in the Final Chase. Players two and three didn't contribute much. Sixteen is a poor total from a team of four, bearing in mind you start on four steps. |

I was going to say Akeem is a good player but not knowing a gannet eats fish disproves my notion.

Player four is going to get offered a hefty minus. Could be minus £8K at least.
Thing is, is two players enough to win? |

This is looking like a really good team. Good knowledge and not easily flustered.

"At last a science question."
Wasn't the metal thermal conductivity one a science question?

Well done team, I was wrong thinking Norma would get 12 correct, in fact it was Kate who got the 12 and the other 2 got 4 each. That's the standard achievable by a good team of 3 players.

Brilliant chase. Anne did very well to nearly catch them.

Next player in seat 3 is potentially the one to go for the minus.

Good team but I just can't see them winning, only because the team won yesterday and they hardly ever show two wins in a row. |

I'm kinda expecting the team to under-perform in the Final Chase all the same given that we had such an amazing team yesterday (with Anne on amazing form also).
I'm expecting perhaps a challenging game for Paul, but I have no doubt that he'll win. |
