But surely that's the whole point of the alternative answers being like that. I was the same as you, I had know idea of the answer, but as soon as I saw them I knew it had to be Random House, because I'd heard of it, and the other two were obviously made up versions of that using a similar word.
So the question's basically testing if you had heard of Random House and, if you had, could correctly deduce it had to be the answer.
If the other two were genuine alternative answers then knowing that Random House existed would be of no help and people would just be guessing, since hardly anybody will know the answer.
