As well as being very odd, the clock actually froze at 0:01, rather than ticking down to nought. Very strange.

Oh yeah. Must have been a badly done retake....

Why is it strange?

A quick look on youtube and you will see that when most, if not all times the Chaser wins, the clock freezes showing the remaining time.

I think, if you watch it, counting down the seconds with the rest of the clock, it would have gone to zero before he's got to the 'M' of Mike Tyson. Don't think it's dodgy though, as there would have been an outcry, but a very badly done retake for some reason.

I had no idea The Chase even had a YouTube channel, and they put up all the final chases. Certainly a lot easier using that if you want to watch one again than faffing about with the itv player and having to sit through all the ads to get to the bit you want to watch.

I think it's odd that they put up the outtakes on their channel. When something funny happens all you can hear is Bradley creasing up and the crew in the background laughing. It completely shops the business that there's no studio audience present, yet they continue to pretend that there is by dubbing on audience applause and laughter in post production.

Hi I don't know if it has already been posted here before (I did go back to see if anyone had) but Paul Sinha is a team captain on a BBC 1 NI show called Bad Language. (I've just posted a new thread about it and then spotted this one) It's on BBC 1 NI on Fridays at 10:35 and for everyone else on the iPlayer soon'ish!

But usually the clock only freezes when the Chaser has completed their final answer, as seen here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swtOuBcsdnw

Yesterday, the clock had frozen before the Chaser had even started the final answer.

He's my favourite . . . . . closely followed by Anne and Shaun.

Mark played really well but the pressure was just too much in the end.

Well done team, thoroughly deserved.
