Horrific performance by Bill and nobody says anything because what, he's a lot older than the average contestant? Come on, I find that a bit unfair.

It was the "how many vowels in facetious" question that screwed them. That's the dangers of a wrong-person-answer. They would have most likely scraped a win with 14.

Yet again we have a contestant too cowardly to go for the low offer and it cost the team big time.

Bradley, trying to make it sound as if it was really close at the end, was pretty patronising to them and insulting to us.

It was close at the end, four seconds on the clock. I don't think Bradley was patronising, he just stated facts.

It's ok to point out (with hindsight) a decision turned out wrong but it's not cowardice!

It can take a lot of courage to go for the low answer and she herself basically admitted she was too scared for it - "so and so would not forgive me for going low".

When she made the decision my better half and I both noted she was likely to pay for not being brave enough and so it turned out, they would have won if she'd been braver.

The middle offer in the last slot is often the cowards way out, taking a chance and going high can make sense as the potential reward is so much but the middle no sorry she wimped out.

I think you'll find it's 31 There is often a simple maths question somewhere in each set - the team just didn't get to their one.

I don't see it as cowardice. She earned the right to make a decision on her own terms, instead of choosing on the basis of sound mathematics.

What really stuffed her, apart from the Z-list celebrity marriage question, was not hearing/reading the question about literature. She even knew Daphne Du Maurier wote Rebecca! Bradley is always careful to emphasize the NOT and it is capitalised too. I'd put it down to nerves. Unlucky.

And yes, she'd have got through with the Rebecca and -£2000.

Team slipped up with a few but Mark romped it anyway. Even if they had got 22 he would still have won, very impressive.

What most here would see as a desire to retain their dignity, self-respect and the respect of others by not taking a negative or very low offer, you're calling cowardice.

I agree that desire to avoid loss of self-respect should sometimes be overcome when it's rational to 'go low' for the good of the team and only with their support. But putting one's dignity above your chance of gain isn't cowardice.

Great performance by Mark today.

When was Jenny last on? Did she lose so many times that they've had to really space out her episodes, or did she not film as many?

Personally, I think she's a dead ringer for Amy Jensen.

......oooops! I mean Ashley Jensen, of course.
