Only that I joined the team partway through recording series nine - there are fewer of my episodes in the can.
Maybe Jenny is busy trying to find a space to park her caravan at the studios then missing the recordings?

Surely in the context of a company you're either a director (registered at Companies House, forms filled in) or you're not? Maybe she;s a director's (or directors') assistent.

Didn't see the start of the show but the first thing that springs to mind is the job in film/tv production where you can have First Assistant Director, Second Assistant Director, even (apparently) Second Second Assistant Director etc...
