Agree. Jenny was clearly acting dumb to give the contestant a chance. I know all the chasers try not to completely annihilate contestants when their score is low. But Jenny is such a poor 'actress' when she pretends to not know a 'bread and butter' quiz question.
After her initial impressive performances, Jenny's weaknesses are appearing
Twice now she has failed on relatively straightforward general science (chemistry) - today with the Ammonia question (NH4) and previously on the acids (Hydrochloric not having oxygen molecules in it IIRC)

If this is true then The Chase has no credibility. These types of shows are heavily edited, so it's not as if they need the excuse of it being to fill in time, as they can do that earlier in the show if the chaser annihilates a poor contestant, with over a minute to spare.
It's bad enough that they pretend there's an audience and are now telling them to make up job titles.

When the chaser gets questions wrong on purpose to drag out the final chase it makes a mockery of the programme for me.

Sean seems to drag out the Final Chase, on occasion.
I'm not buying this "the Chasers get questions wrong on purpose" argument. (Well, maybe they do on the celebrity editions.)
But what benefit does it serve anyone? If they're going to win in the end anyway surely you'd rather show them romp home wouldn't you? Show how formidable they really are, not have them look weak.
Jenny's just not very good is all.
