Armageddonouta this dump.

I know quite a few people who cook their breakfast deep fried down to the egg, puke (sorry hubby is one) and yes microwaved rather then keep it warm in the oven. Not for me it would make the sausage dry and hard....unless cooked in gravy or something... bleurgh.

The owners cater a lot for business men I expect and famlilies and perhaps to offer really expensive sausages would cut into her profits. I dont even eat them anyway.
That sounds utterly disgusting.

The owner said her sausages were catering sausages and she didn't want to change them. I assumed she didn't want to change them for the prog. So good for her. At least she let everyone eat her breakfast as it really is.

So I wonder how many dog and cat hairs our contestants will find at Auyda House? See what we were saying last week a lot of B&B have their own Pets even though guests are not allowed to bring their own dogs.

Dog hairs can travel....upwards..... We shall see.

Melindas place sounds confusing with her breakfast.

I hope she realises she now has to really step up to it on her day......
Somewhere on the net, out of the squilions of pages found when her name is typed in, it says she has pets!!!

So Melinda joins the ranks of those who go on FIAB, and do their business no good at all.

I can't believe her snootiness and nit picking when guests at her place have a shared bathroom. As I've said before, having my own facilities is the number one thing on my list when deciding where to stay, and I know I am far from alone in that.

That woman really does need to get real. I can see there being a bloodbath as she has been stupid enough to show her colours before anyone has even been to her place.
Just one day of 4IAB and Melinda has made her mark!

She reminds me of Lizzy from One Sallyport with all her snootiness and the way she behaves like everything is beneath her and she is sooooooo much better.

Like you say, not so clever is she? Everyone has her sussed. Connie is making challenges and doesn't seem the type to put up with her nonsense and the other couples are going to pander to her.

But then maybe she just had a really bad day yesterday and she is really a delightful, charming person. What do you think?

Her reviews though seem quite positive. I am not quite sure where she thought she was yesterday, it wasnt the Ritz it was a comfortable clean run of the mill B&B. It was good value for money too.

Hope she calms down today......we shall see otherwise we will have to listen to her ON Fan page facebook

Looks like the latest attempt to fix the problems brought about by an upgrade nobody wanted, has gone wrong.

It makes reading posts really hard as you cant see the new posts from the posts that have been quoted within the post. (If you know what I mean!!)

This is really annoying. And it has been going on over an hour to my knowledge. It is practically impossible to follow the thread at the moment, so I ain't going to bother for a while.

I'm amazed Bowden allows a B&B.

It doesn't allow it

The interesting back story to this highly entertaining 4 in a bed is that Melinda hasn't got local authority planning permission to use her 'house on an estate'.

It's been operating for 12mths or more without permission and has been 'forced' to apply and apparently local people are not happy with the noise etc and having a b&b (or she calls it a hotel often) on their doorsteps

She's had to put in for retrospective planning permission. If you search the internet the story is there

I bet she hasn't got Enviro Health or Fire Regs etc etc if she hasn't even got the conversion from Home to B&B permission.

Tut, tut, Smarmy Melinda and Mr Melinda the Hotel Inspector.

I can't wait for her day

see the comments on it here, it's in the local news

I'm loving this new series.

This does not surprise me one bit! Great find Pete. Thanks.

It never clicked yesterday but the intro says that Stewart id accompanying Lady Melinda suggesting they aren't actually a couple. Maybe he's a gigolo she's hired for tv purposes.

She only drives a Volvo too...she really does lower the tone of Bowden!

Back when I did my predictions for the week I thought she was a divorce having to use her home to make money?!
