Melinda is better at maths than turning showers on. Maybe she's a savant.

So she admits she has never had a full B&B.

Its just the horrible change that reality TV has gone through, in the early days of Reality TV it was about how people dealt with situations that cropped up, producers saw that when there was conflict the ratings went up, so these days all conflict is organised and staged, but whats happened is that they have actually ruined reality TV by doing this imo

Bubble brain wins. "Nobody managed to burst the bubble". I bet he's been working on that pun for months.

Mr "Hotel Inspector" should be ashamed of himself, he should have used his "expertise" to go over that B&B and identify the issues. Not have a go at others who had justified complaints.

Which is why I do not watch reality show and will not watch the next series of this as it has lost that sparkle for me now.

Lady Muck was delusional to the end. As for her fake hotel inspector friend, it is better I say nothing!

Well done Bubble Inn, the Golden Fleece should have been second IMO.

Surely the makers are shooting themselves in the foot as what decent business person would now take part?

CDWM went the same way. No decent cook would take part due to the scathing, as someone here said, "parody of himself" commentary from Dave Lamb.”

I have to defend Dave Lamb here, what with him being a local boy and a good bloke - as far as CDWM is concerned he's a jobbing actor, he reads the scripts he's given the way the director wants him to.

I couldn't believe that Lady Muck (and seldom has it been more suitable to call someone that) took no responsibility for anything at her place apart from the breakfast, where she couldn't pretend it wasn't her fault.

I think the hope that they'll retire it or change the format isn't likely to be met. It's a cheap format and there are plenty of people prepared to make idiots of themselves as well as a few who genuinely have decent establishments and think they can play it straight. I'd love to see them introduce the idea someone suggested up the threw a way of showing the owners/managers what the others were complaining about though - it would stop the constant 'it wasn't clean', 'yes it was' conversations on payday, which are a complete waste of time.

Didn't see all of tonights show as busy washing up, eating etc however unsurprised Connie won, deservedly so but I don't like him, he is very confrontational, aggressive and overly confident. As for Eileen she is a hard hearted woman. Really believed her when she said she was upset over somebody's underpayment! I can't see what Menet sees in her as he seems ok.

I did feel sorry for Melinda but obviously she thought running a B & B was an easy job and it ain't! However for her not to take responsibility for any of the criticisms raised just smacks of living in cloud cuckoo land. As for her friend he was a waste of space and obviously doesn't join Melinda in her exercise regime just looking at his girth.

I felt the fairest couple were Robert the chef and his wife although I wasn't impressed by his breakfasts.

My hub watched tonight and said we could run a B & B (we've only got 3 bedroom house) but as I said to him, it's not as easy as it looks and I'm so slow at cleaning thoroughly it would take me one day to clean a single room.

Do you think so? I wondered about him. He certainly didn't do her any favours. Whether or not he was the real thing, he was there to boost her ego and introduced as a hotel inspector to give her some kudos.

I totally agree with you and what they doesn't realize is that their formula and all the repetition is so boring and predictable.
We watch 4iaB for two reasons, we're nosy and it's a habit when we're in, which we are because we work from home
Would I make any effort to watch it if it didn't just fill in some time in the background? I really don't think so, not even for the nosiness factor.

So is that it then? series over again?
Thanks for the company everyone.

I did too and I don't feel bad one bit

She's the epitome of hypocrisy - she expected standards from others that she couldn't maintain at her own establishment then cried 'revenge' when she got a bit of reciprocity.
