I've got to say though that I have an issue with anyone who knows something's in bad condition e.g. that badly stained mattress, and then nit picks that someone's found it and not liked it, rather than accepting it shouldn't be like that

I don't think Fay and Ray were game playing about the comment criticisng how long breakfast took either. They weren't alone in that complaint.
Ttoally agree SS - that mattress was rank ( ) and I'd never have scored them as highly as 4 for cleanliness

I think Faye's a pain in the arse but their scores were totally fair, including a 10 for the hosting. And the bint tonight has edged ahead in my 'I really cannot stand her' stakes with all her 'I'll have it out with them on payment day' cobblers.

Oh and I don't understand how you could live in such beautiful surroundings, charge £90.00 per room yet fail to take a quick trip to B&Q to buy a £1.99 light-pull

What a silly waste of time that activity was
I know the producers probably "suggest" the activity, but at least in the past where the hosts know they are experianced, they haven't competed themselves
I rather think tonights hosts already believe they are perfect, so no matter what is pointed out to them, they won't have it - even the light pull they knew was defective!

Can only echo what others have said really, don't like Faye as a person and thought her b & b was horrendous.

That mattress like night was awful and yet as Faye didn't say anything to the hosts at the time we can only assume she slept on it anyway, I know it was on the underside but having seen it I wouldn't have been happy using it.

'Rookie mistake' from last nights hosts, the pull cord was an easy fix as was moving the bed out and hoovering under it.

If breakfast took 45 minutes to arrive then that was far too long imo.

I wonder if they usually do the breakfast? The bloke seemed to be wandering about like a spare part and when his missus suggested he see if the guests were ok he simply looked through the window! What did he expect to see? They don't want anything unless a mini-riot is going on? Go out and talk to them!

It was daft. We'll watch you all struggle with this activity you haven't done before, then we will do our turn and win. Well, obviously.

And the comment on the missing light-pull was strange. He spoke as if it was just bad luck, without acknowledging it would be quite possible to replace it!

^^^ yes to all the above and the filth under the bed, that hadn't been there a few weeks that looked like it'd accumulated over months.

The breakfast situation seemed very odd to me, as though they used that space for conference type meetings and had just cleared it out for the programme's usage.
He didn't have any hosting skills, it was more of the pay us and be as little impact on our life as possible vibe going on.

I agree as well about the producers selecting the activity, we've been told that before, but it didn't do anyone any favours at all. I suppose they did it to create tension, but the hosts could've handled it better imo.

For such a large house I thought the rooms were poky and I didn't like the decor. That mattress was disgraceful and should have been thrown out, the light cord should have been replaced as a matter of urgency.
A B&B that promises much but fails to deliver.

Indeed, with hosts who think they are perfect and will no doubt underpay everyone else. accusing them of [something like] not cutting the mustard.

I must say that mattress was terrible - really , have they not watched this programme, I've only started watching this year as I was ill in bed- but even I know that stained mattress and pillows are not acceptable - I wouldn't put my family on a mattress like that not to mind paying guests.
Faye is a bit of a pain though

This is getting ridiculous now , i was hoping they would amend the inspections and tone it down, but it looks like the producers have amped it up even more

I'm surprised they don't peel back the wallpaper to see what's behind it....

You where just the cook not the captain!

When I posted the preview of the week I was expecting the nail issue to be an actual nail not a toe nail!

Everyone's getting too confident time for their downfall! 😈😈😈
