Exactly, that couple are just too nice for this show though, overpaying so much.
I thought she just said she believed the more you give the more you get back in return, yet she held back the extra payment she thinks it deserved.

Patrick is too much of a game player, that shouldn't be allowed, to under pay as it's a game and he wants the chance to win, you should have to justify it.

its just an over produced "reality TV" program these days, the honesty of the competition, and the program about actual B&B's has long gone imo

The issue with me is, she sees herself as a giving, caring and kind spirit, yet she really is the opposite.

So do I. If the Busfeild Arms' objective was to present good quality rooms with a good quality, well-cooked brekkie with very pleasant, personable hosts who come over as trustworthy... and normal! then job done. I'd like to stay there.

They have played a very clever game! It looks an amazing place to stay and no one can complain about them as people as they were lovely and generous! Should have won by a margin.

Yet another abject lesson in how to win a tacky plaque, think you have been extremely clever, and actually be the overall loser because the GBP will think you are a nasty, game playing piece of work. The Busfeild couple won hands down, and their business will benefit from their demenour and the obvious quality of their place for the money.

Why do they never show any responses? The first thing I'd have said yo Jackie is 'why didn't you ask for more eggs like a normal person?' Clearly game playing and needed pointing out!

She couldnt send them back as they were not cold. We only have her word for it they were cold. There was no proof of it.

Same with smells, she never complained because well I dont expect it was there.

Thankyou for agreeing with me. I also did not like Jackie's reaction at the end when she very sarcastically blew Patrick a kiss, with what can only be described as a snide look on her face. What did she think that would achieve for her business?

i absoutely agree.... its such a shame really i'll still watch it but it just doesnt have the same feel and appeal that it used to... i tend to have it on as background noise now...

Oak Cottage is fire fighting. There have been so many negative comments, she is trying to remove them. I looked last night, and there were a lot more than there are now. She is fighting a losing battle to get rid of them, but someone has even put comments that they have been removed.

Busfeild Arms has nothing but praise. So much so they have posted a thankyou for all the positive posts.

To be honest this person is probably the worse one i have seen on 4inabed, i couldnt believe the way she behaved.

I love the couple at Bushfeild Arms, so genuine, the true winners for me. I actually quite like Epstein house and the one in Bath.

But first time i have been so angry nearly threw something at my telly lol.....

I know! I couldn't quite believe it. She is something else isn't she? Hands up all those on here who would stay at Oak Cottage (aka semi-detached house). Thought not!

Production should not allow these type of tactics to win - so unfair on the other contestants. We have seen it just too often - go first and be nice then underpay everyone else my massive amounts for silky reasons

None of them should see the feedback forms until payment day for fairness' sake - that would stop a lot of the tit for tat nonsense - and they shouldn't be allowed to mark down if they haven't given the hosts a chance to rectify the "problem" eg cold eggs and smells. I'm sure both would have been sorted out on the spot had the relevant hosts known about it.

And no - I wouldn't stay at Oak Tree cottage for all the tea in China! It's not a cottage, and having seen the behaviour of the landlady on the show, even less likely to!
