This issue of hairs is ridiculous now. Surely it's obvious whether a bathroom's been cleaned or not and whether sheets are freshly laundered? It's entirely possible that some of the "hairs" found in bathrooms are really fibres from cleaning cloths and that the hairs found on sheets have been laundered anyway so are unlikely to cause any lasting damage to someone sleeping on them. (Where IS that eye-roll smiley?)”

Didnt we have another one who slept in her dressing gown on towels.....

OK dog hairs. I have a JR. My cleaner is good she hoovers my bedroom really well, but i can guarantee you when she goes, i can find dog hairs lol. Lucy my JR her hair sticks to things, its a nightmare. I kind of walk around shedding myself lol. Once you have hoovered and dusted the hairs whereever they hid just come back down again to settle.

the women if she was that hairy should have asked to move or get new sheets.

As you say when sheets go in laundry and dryer there are hairs flying around everywhere from all over the place, but they are CLEAN lol.

Its nothing to get obsessed about.

Overall the rooms were clean. Although even my toilet you can use a toilet tissue and it is sparkling under the rim.

This programme is tiresome. I have more fun watching the other ones now Shipping Wars lol....and that is boring.

A 4 for no separate shower? oh just have a bath and enjoy it!

There should not be hairs from animals in the rooms, what if another customer has an allergy? they should make sure they are cleaned properly, she was a bit silly about it though.”

1. The shower was a joke. You get given a lovely bathroom with a perfectly good bath. The shower is there to rinse hair etc. Its not for standing in the bath and having a shower. what is the obsession about showers. Now if there was just a shower cubicle in there i expect they would have complained there was no bath. A 4 for this was disgraceful. The facilities were way more then the shower, they had lots of things going on at this B&B.

2. This is a pet friendly B&B it states so on their website, so if you have allergy dont book. Anyone who has dogs will know that even with the best cleaner, vacuum dog hairs will hide and attach themselves evern after the room has been thoroughly cleaned.

I think the marking was ridiculous. So now its set again for a war. BORING.

From the preview of today's episode - if we needed more proof that they shouldn't see feedback until the end of the week, this is it!

Whilst I agree that the feedback yesterday's owners got was harsh, they have now been given an excuse to retaliate against the others, Mark down and underpay.

I wish nobody read the feedback until they were all together on the final day, this tit for tat marking thing is tedious imo.

Also, woudl be interesting if they didn't know the room price and had to make a payment 'blind' if you know what I mean.

Maries place better be clean to the point of sterile, if not she will get slaughtered!

I would mark down for not having a shower, a couple of points, and I wouldn't stay again because of that.

We have to bear in mind that these days, when the contestants give their feedback, it's not often objective or constructive and that's obviously because they're directed by, egged on and positively compelled to comment on every tiny flaw. Then we get to see just the small selection of remarks picked out for the edit and it's heavy on the negativities.

Clearly you wouldn't book a pet friendly place if you're allergic, particularly sensitive, or object to the odd stray hair or lingering smell. I wouldn't book anywhere without its own ensuite, preferably a proper shower even if it's over the bath. I wouldn't want anywhere with a continental breakfast served from a landing either, so I wouldn't opt to stay there.

These people don't have a choice, but then they critique on a personal basis.

I left a review for somewhere this weekend, which included my comment that although the mattress was good quality, we found it very firm for our taste. IMO that is objective without being ctitical where it isn't deserved. I also commented on how quiet the room was despite being in a very old single glazed building overlooking the promenade...and that's because they'd spent money on very thick fabric curtains, with lining, inter lining and generous fullness (one of my pet bugbears on 4iaB is the hosts who say they can't do anything to alleviate outside noise if they have a listed building) Hopeful my comments are useful to people who look for feedback on the site in question.

My favourite hosts on 4iaB are the ones who answer criticism politely saying they'll check or change something that's been flagged up to them, or apologizing if something's gone wrong and not getting aggressive or defensive.

The ones who really show themselves up are the 'wouldn't want them back anyway' brigade. They don't do themselves any favours at all.

They don't do they, to say that is very much akin to "if they don't like it they know where the door is"! Apart from it being about the millionth time it has been said would not a little reflection on what has been said be taken into account? It's a very child-like reaction, what next, sticking out their tongues whilst putting their fingers into their ears?

Right, I'm all caught up on Monday's episode.

I'm not that bothered by Marie so far to be honest.

I do however find the constant whittering on about hairs in the show now, is bleddy irritating. Unless the previous inhabitant has had a full body shave and left it round the bath, you will always find hairs.

The way this show is now, if I had a B&B, it's the last programme I'd go on. It's very rare that anyone comes out of it looking good these days

It's made it even harder for anyone to run a B&B because people expect absolute perfection now.

I've got to be honest, if I was on a budget or business trip I'd rather stay in Premier Inn etc than a B&B as it makes the owners come across as a bit bonkers. It's a shame because I know there are some amazing B&B's out there.

Its as though last week the producers thought we would like to see nasty people, and this week they have thought we will give them the odd bods
