I actually think its the right result overall,
The first couple were unrelentingly nasty and deserved to come last for that alone. If they had been nicer people then I would have liked them to come much higher up as their place was OK.
Marie came second and I think that is a fair result
Yvonne and co won. Although she did spend a lot of time looking for faults and some were quite petty at the end of the day she only charges £55 and for silly Billy to knock £8 off because he could not work out how to use the wi fi was ridiculous. It was for that alone that I wanted Yvonne to win although to be honest I think Yvonne would do better as a hotel inspector, there wouldn't be much that gets past her

She may only charge £55, however in Blackpool you can stay in more 'upmarket' (she'll love that) establishments for the same amount, or less, including the Hilton and most that look out onto the beach and beach front/on the promenade, compared to her non beach front place.

The underpayments for the two Billys breakfast was nonsense too. Again, how much do they think it's really worth?
I almost wish they wouldn't have the low-end B&B's on this show as it's so hard to justify any underpayments when the price is already so cheap. Maybe if they added up the scores out of 10 and used that to declare the winner it would be better?
As far as I'm concerned the Billy's had the best B&B. And Yvonne, that's a no no blaming the guest for anything. They are your bread and butter and you should have mentioned that there was WiFi, not up to the guest to ask. Cheap B&Bs will always win in these situations. Marie felt she could only dock them £2.50 yet took £10 off Billy because he had a dearer establishment., IMHO. At the end of the day they all got fed what looked like a lovely breakfast and slept in a beautiful comfortable clean room.
I would love to be a fly on the wall and see the normal paying customers refusing to pay the the charge because they found a hair on the bed or they didn't like the bread used for toast, or the colour of the bedspread etc....

I disagree Yvonne did not deserve to win her breakfast was beyond poor also to knock £9.00 off Marie over a taste preference of breakfast was harsh.
I think Marie overall was the fairest and deserved the win although I admit she did go slightly over the top on the first visit. However she only knocked £2.50 off for Yvonne for the one error.
Billy and Billy became silly Billies when they seemed to be harshly underpaying everyone. It says a lot when not one paid the full amount.

I do agree they did have the best place but the breakfast was in excess of 1 hour and 930 already seemed late anyway.

I agree regarding the tomatoes I have always said it should be 50/50 weighting on price paid and maxinium marks that way people can't trick peope with high marks

It wasn't a case of him being unable to use the wifi though - if it was, you might have a point. The actual point was that there was no signal in that room so asking her for the access code or whatever wouldn't have made a difference - unless she was going to move her router into their room, which I somehow doubt.
She's lucky it was only an £8.00 underpayment for her minging little dump and horrid personality.
If the Billies let themselves down, it was due to the breakfast fiasco IMO because there was a chef on the premises, so no excuse whatsoever for running 40+ minutes late.
The dad's face when the son was making excuses about the breakfast during feedback time said it all.
