Wow, the Brovey Lair website is an absolute mess.

Tuesday

The competition moves on to its second Norfolk B&B of the week, The Orangery, where Ricky and Vicky Kerrison's guests get competitive at an outdoor activity centre and try to leap from as high as possible on a jumping tower. Perfectionist Richard loses his nerve while young Sam and Nathan race to the top, and Vicky is determined to take them on.

Wednesday

Sam Millidge and Nathan Peace, the owners of the King's Head in Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, host the third of this week's stop-overs. Their rooms come in for some tough criticism, especially from Mike and Tina, and a light-hearted game of bubble football becomes a little too serious for Richard and Sheryl. Over dinner, the guests grill the pair over how they came to be in charge of their business at such a young age, but the genial atmosphere sours for Tina when she discovers Sheryl is a cordon-bleu trained chef. As the stay draws to a close, the boys are upset to find out their hosting and breakfast skills have failed to receive high marks.

Thursday

The guests roll up at Buzzard House in Herefordshire, whose owners Richard and Sheryl Middleton have swapped corporate careers for the B&B world. However, while the establishment has well-appointed rooms, Sam and Nathan think a few basics are missing, and tension between self-taught chef Tina and cordon-bleu-trained Sheryl crop up again - especially during a pancake cook-off. Later, a different side to Sheryl leads Tina to have a change of heart. But soggy fritters at breakfast threaten the high scores the couple are after.

Friday

The B&B owners meet for the last time to find out what they've been paid and to settle some scores. Mike and Tina from Brovey Lair want to discuss Richard and Sheryl's breakfast feedback, while Ricky and Vicky from the Orangery have similar questions for Tina and Mike. Finally, once the dust has settled, the winners are announced.”

It really is. How hard is it to use one of those website hosting websites to get a decent website? And the food looks terrible in the photos.

I know that there are some B&B owners here, so I just thought that I would ask- where do you get your pillows from? I have a massive trouble keeping mine nice and plump- they seem to go all flat within a month. Also, how do you keep your duvets smelling fresh? I have a massive feather duvet which I can't wash and it is beginning to.... absurd smells. It gets aired weekly but still, any tips?

Feather duvets can be washed. Have you tried a memory foam pillow. I have a Tempur one and it stays plump.

Knaresboroughs in the countryside

I enjoyed this week they all seemed to get along quite well and take their critisisms...... Mariannes lodges were beautiful no doubt about it, but "me, me , me" people will never understand what listening actually means, and i think everyone else in the group handled her quite well, i would of had to ignore her and make a point of speaking to everyone else and they bore me rigid, however i do think she took the critisisms alot better than i expected her too so well done to her for that.

However those lodges were pretty awesome its a competition £50 underpayment for not getting a cooked breakfast was abit extreme, i agree with other posters who said the same kind of estabishments should be grouped together - similar fees etc stick all the luxury lodges hotel in the same programme and don't compare them to blackpool.

Blackpool is fun cheap and cheerful, but there's no need to go on the programme and slate the place, the guys offered clean bed and a fantastic breakfast for a very very good price.

Are this week repeats? It doesn't say repeat in the TV guide.

I have once but it was like a rock.

You can put it on a gentle wash like wool or hand wash setting. There are softer memory foam pillows available. John Lewis has one which is pretty soft. Or you could try a soft microfibre pillow or a combination of microfibre and memory foam which bounce back into shape.

They can be carefully washed, but I find it's better to have them dry-cleaned. All dry-cleaners will do feather duvets. We have a winter duvet and a summer one, and they each get dry-cleaned once a year, when we swap them over.

Oh yes, I forgot about microfibre! I had one and it lasted for about 6 months. Need to get some more.

Dry cleaners sounds like a great idea. For some reason I always thought of them as only cleaning clothes.
