I'm surprised Lauren and her BF runs a business as they seem utterly stupid, and a nasty pair, I wouldn't stay at their place because of them.

It's his parent's place, I think she has muscled her way in.

If I were his parents I would be worried about her. I think he should ditch her and fast, she seems like a nasty piece of work, wanted an argument at breakfast yesterday, got confrontation at dinner today and said how happy she was after it, even though the lady was viably upset.

What a nasty girl.

She was trying to rile the others up about the breakfast. She was told it was not fried but she was trying to plant a seed of doubt in the others minds.

Playing devils advocat here but, it did show a pan with oil in ready to go in the oven, so is there much difference to frying something on the hob in a frying pan and putting food in oil in a roasting tin?

Maybe that's where the 'fried' confusion is.

Didn't like the rooms last night, although price was very reasonable.

The young couples comments at dinner last night were out of order, so basically they were saying 'we thought you were horrible but now we have changed our minds'....well that's so good to hear, keep your gobs shut you stupid pair.

I agree - no difference at all to me! The healthy option is grilled, so the sausage/bacon fat falls away rather than staying around the food. Not that I bother - too lazy to clean the grill and the pan which I'll still need for the eggs.

I do the sausage, bacon, black pudding etc in the oven on a trivet so all the fat falls away from the food. Works for me

I do like grilled bacon (nice 'n crispy!), but it takes much longer to do than fried in my grill. How long does it take in the oven? Can you do sausage and black pudding at the same time or do they take longer?

Absolutely agree, but they shot her down each time, nasty piece of work.

Quiet in here tonight!

They are right, he is just the manager, and wont have the same kind of passion and money tied up in the business.
