Sorry I meant in what year as we've had people before say it's "award winning" but from the 90's!

Can't remember if they said the year.

I lived in that town, EVERYTHING is bad about it.

I don't know Tenbury Wells but the overhead view of the Rose & Crown's location is something of a shocker. I'm not saying the impression given on the programme was misleading but......

It's not where I'd choose to stay - the traffic noise would bother me - but their location probably delivers them lots of business from the surrounding factories and commerce. Couple that with nice, clean rooms and they're potentially very successful year round, not just seasonally. They're coming across well as reasonable and pleasant hosts so this is likely to be an effective 4iaB appearance for them. A rare enough thing for owners nowadays.

And I'm sure the bacon was not 'rancid'.

As for Gezz and his 'look at my number plate to spell my name...' I need a vomit smiley. Which would make a mess of his unprotected pillows...

I can well understand the Swedish couple refusing to stay, I would feel cheated if I had booked because of their website, citing a 'traditional country pub on the outskirts of Tenbury' and 'views across the meadows, over the river Teme & Tenbury itself'.

http://www.roseandcrown-tenburywells.co.uk Oh! I missed 'the town in the orchard'.

I know all advertising has a large degree of 'puff' but this takes the biscuit

No but that sums up the woman - thick.

She was livid/furious/fuming whatever because someone said they couldn't sleep and gave her a 4. What did she expect - a 10? I didn't sleep but I'm scoring you an 8, 9 or 10.

I don't mind Gez. The only ones I don't really care for are the two women from Monday and I'm not certain abut the others.

It's pure spite for the feedback they got.

So far the mum and daughter are my no. 1 nasties of the week. I have always had a sneaking suspicion about yesterday's hosts. They could be no. 2 nasties. Not sure about today's host and Gez seems to be the nicest of the bunch.

But all will be revealed tomorrow!

Back to the slope; is it mentioned on ther website?

Yes, it is!

Yes, the producers always identify the "nasty cow" type contestants and put them on first. Makes for better viewing, what!

And the stupid woman thinks they're at a disadvantage going first! Thick as two short planks, the both of them.

But maybe they're right! Can't see anyone wanting to stay at their place after their obnoxious game-playing.
