As soon as she spoke I said to my fellow watchers "she's from Norfolk" I also love their distinctive accents!

Why didnt she simply sleep in the single bed, there was a lamp right there. Jeez couldnt believe she complained of that, and a tiny mark on the tile, which could be prermanent and not actually dirt. I have them on mine where i use my shower chair lol. So nick picking.

I thought the rooms were great, would love them to make me a teddy to go in my bedroom to match my decor lol.....

The breakfast was lovely too. I couldnt see anything wrong with the place personally.

2 points off for a spider well its ludicrous.

Re the bedside lamp.

Yes it was silly to say it was on 'the wrong side of the bed', but it is a valid fault, because if the room were used by a couple, only one of them can switch on the light.

Not too keen on last nights hosts - they've only been in the game a year, but any criticism is obviously game-playing as they already know everything!

I do think you need a lamp each side of a double bed, though Audrey fussed about it.

I've noticed some hotels are minimising bed side tables recently, either making them a recess in the wall next to the bed or nothing at all. I've always got lots of stuff to put next to the bed - water, glasses, book, pills...

If you watch again, there is a lamp on the dressing table as well, and there are two bedside lockers either side of the bed. I wonder if it was more the fact on side there is no way to have it plugged in safely perhaps as the one on dressing table matched and could have been used the other side of the bed. I still thought it was daft to complain about it when she could have slept in the single bed, being SINGLE lol...

Ah just watched it again and the couple in the Earl Grey room (theirs is on tonight), they only had one lamp on one side of the bed too. The other side had the drinks trolley.

I agree about the game playing. Still think they look like STEPFORD grannies lol.....

I don't understand people like tonight's hosts. What good is working all the time and doing everything yourself 24/7 if you never see your family or have any rest?

I wonder if Audrey will have to phone a taxi to turn off the bedside lamp tonight

I think if you are going to throw yourself into many businesses then having children is unfair, poor kids must feel very lonely and unwanted

HATE the furniture, cheap flat pack rubbish.

Struth. One of last night pair is still wearing a big floral dress. I thought they were part of the Alice In Wonderland on acid corporate image they'd created for Lilly's Pad.

The bed is cold to her legs. It's probably the only action she's seen in years.
