I wonder what the ratings are like now? Can't be that good if most of us forget that the show is on.

The Yorkshire man, has he mentioned that he's from Yorkshire? And what is it with every single one Yorkshire man (ones that I can remember) being so bloody dull and joyless?
You can always tell a Yorkshire man... But you can't tell him much!

I'm older than you, I remember before the days of washing up liquid when remains of soap bars were kept in a type of strainer and swished through the water to give a lather.

Stopped watching this but saw yesterday's. Still the same old, same old unfortunately.

Quite amazed they are actually allowed to use 'communal soap.' I recently worked with a company that ran business courses and H&S prevented us from using a bar of soap. It had to be in a liquid format or small, individual bars.

I wonder if any contestant has had to 'unavoidably pull out' of the programme before they've had their half hour of free advertising recorded meaning it had to be broadcast.

Fair score from the girls, and a £20 underpayment from the miserable old git.

I've watched Four In A Bed for years, but have never commented on this thread before, so hi to everyone.

Can't believe Marks attitude this week, just who does he think he is?!

Hi there, it will probably be a bit quiet on here today as this is not the usual payment day.

He has a horrible attitude to others, especially women, calling his dearest, 'Wife' all of the time is ignorant.

I would love to try glamping in a nice, comfortable bed but those prices are far too high. As far as I could tell there was no heating (correct me if I'm wrong) and no electricity so I can't see the justification for the prices. The breakfasts are very expensive, too. How do you make yourself a cup of tea? I think I must have missed half of the episode. ”

I think they are ideal for a B&B, no point in supplying a fashionable one that might disappear into someone's suitcase.
I do love the idea of the 'open to the sky' glamp as it looked as though it was set privately amongst trees. Can't bear darkened rooms so it would suit me fine. But nothing else about glamping tempts me.

Can you tell how old you are by your writing? I'm late 40s.

Hello! I fell asleep so I'm watching the one hour later programme.

I'm surprised Jean doesn't mind being called wife if it was me I would thump him one.

Mark is so set in his ways and stubborn he's not coming across at all well. Plus Mark and Jean can dish it out but can't take any criticism themselves.

Pleased that Crystals on the Prom won. Mark and Jean are well suited both miserable, stingy characters.

Who won? I'll read back and figure it out. Hope Mark and Wife (does it need a capital letter or is it a generic: wife?) don't win. He has such a discontented, resentful expression for someone who is from (apparently) God's Own Country.

Just one more reason I don't do religion.

thanks Stefthepest - just what I wanted to know.

Why is it that so few participants in every series of this show are willing to listen to feedback from guests? "No one's complained before" is not an answer. There are places we have stayed that are not to our taste but unless I got very poor service or there was something really unacceptable like a dirty room I would not mention it in person nor diss them on Trip Advisor, However one of the supposed aims of this show is for owners to get some rare honest feedback. Often the suggestions involve very little financial outlay e.g. bigger towels or a nice dressing table stool

I of course forgot that this was on. But then I am so bored of the show now that the excitement of watching it and commenting here about it has disappeared.

Thought the glamping was very over priced for what you got - and they were as immune to constructive criticism as Mr Yorkshire. Blackpool place was very pricey for Blackpool too, though it probably did deserve to win. Would be interested what made the first couple skiddadle? All seemed fine and dandy until suddenly they weren't there!
